You woke up, surprisingly, in your dorm. You remembered falling asleep in the twins' dorm. You rubbed your eyes and sat up. You turned your head at the tapping on your window which was caused by a black owl. You've never even seen this owl before so given, you were confused. You got out of bed slipping on your house slippers and opening the window and taking the letter from the dark feathered owl.

Dearest y/n,

   I heard about the tournament at Hogwarts, it is nothing to joke about. Kids die in this tournament so please take care of yourself and your friends. I'll be getting you and Harry a gift so expect it later on in the year. Keep safe, I love you Harry both very much.

  You smiled at the letter knowing Sirius was making up for lost time. To not only you, but Harry as well. Even though you knew regulus black was your birth father and you have family still alive. You knew you'd always be a Diggory at heart. But Sirius, he was the family member you never expected to get. Over summer, you and Sirius got very close through letters. You learned about his childhood and more about your family. He could give you answers that Amos couldn't. Why you had a slightly different color in one eye and why you can be so bold and outspoken.

"Love" George called from outside your door.

"Hey Georgie" you smiled pulling him into a hug. "Brought me to my dorm last night?"

"Yes darling, got scared mad eye would pop out of a corner and hex me" he laughed.

"Not if I hex him first" you pulled away and pulling out your clothes for the day.

George knew exactly where everything was placed so, naturally, he grabbed your brush and combed your hair as you set your clothes on the bed. You smiled as he softly untangled your hair. He grabbed a golden ribbon and used a spell for it to tie itself up.

"You know I love when your hair is up" he smiled at you then gave you a peck.

"I could tell" you laughed "now go so I can change" .

George looked you up and down then smiled innocently "nope I'll wait right here".

You laughed and you earned a groan from cho who you forgot was in the room as well.

"If you guys are going to shag before class can you do it while I'm not here" she lifted her head off of her bed.

"George wait out here I'll change in the bathroom" you laughed and threw a pillow at cho.

"Fine" George slouched into your bed.

You went to the bathroom and changed quickly. Right after you were out cho went in and changed. You and George left to meet with the others and get breakfast. As soon as you got down to the hall you were exchanging classes.

"Lee do you have potions with snape?" You asked.

"Yes,third class!" He smiled looking at both of your schedules.

After all exchanging you found you had one class with Fred and George, another with fred, and one with lee. You were glad to have friends in a few classes but there was one friend whom you didn't exchange with.

"Just a second guys" you stood up and walked away from the Gryffindor table. You walked to the Slytherins earning glares and harsh looks from them. But, you let them all down with a smile and made your way to Draco. He looked tired as ever, he smiled seeing you're gleaming face.

"Goodmorning grouch" you laughed sitting next to him.

"Aren't you lively in the mornings" he joked.

"Sure am, can I see your classes" you took his paper before he could answer.

"No , no, no, yes!" You scanned the paper.

"What do we have together?" he looked over "defense against the dark arts! Guess you need me to save you from another boggart" he joked which earned him a playful hit to his arm.

"Why are you over here skyes, don't you have a dog you need to run from" you heard an annoying voice come from the other side of the table.

"Oh pansy why don't you go fix your bang" you smirked.

She looked furious, probably because Draco, whom she was in love with, was laughing.

"Tell it to your mother, oh wait" she smirked "isn't she dead, just like your brother will be when he tries for the tournament" she fake frowned.

You got up and towed over her then with one swift movement a slap came straight across her face leaving a red mark. She got up ready to pounce when Draco pushed her slightly back down and Cedric, quickly came to take you away. You walked away involuntarily with Cedric.

"Don't you ever talk about my family you filthy rat!" You pointed your wand at her and without even meaning to, turned her into a black rat.

"What's the matter with you" Cedric scolded.

"Nothing!" You protested.

"Oh yeah, nothing other than the fact you just turned pansy Parkinson into a rat!" He said sarcastically.

"She deserved it" you mumbled.

"Come again" he looked at you seriously "you could be expelled"

"She talked about my mother" you looked at him.

"Y/n.." he said softly.

"Yeah but whatever right!" You pulled away.

On cue, mcgonagall carried a small black rat to madam Pomfrey. She looked straight at you and walked your way.

"What were you thinking!" She scolded.

"But!" You began to protest.

"No I don't want to hear it, ten points will be taken from gryffindor" she looked serious then nodded her head down "20 will be rewarded for such a great transfiguration"

You smiled then  changed your expression quickly acting as if you were very upset.  Mcgonagall scoffed and walked away to the hospital wing. You shrugged your shoulders and went to walk away, of course, Cedric stopped you.

"Why are you so snappy" he bugged.

"Ask yourself that question" you pulled away from his grasp and left.

You knew it wasn't Cedrics fault, but you were scared for him. You hid your fear with anger and your anger was left with nothing but to be shown. You just couldn't wait for this year to be over.
