George's POV.

After we got to hogsmeade y/n left with Oliver, I was upset but I knew she'd come to see me and Fred after and I had a plan. I decided to ask y/n out that day when she met us in zonkos. It was the perfect plan, I decided To mix Fred's idea and mine so most of the trip we spent gathering the products. We had gotten streamers decorations lights and I got a bouquet of sunflowers and roses, her favorite combination. I was going to be standing in zonkos, and it was gonna be decorated, Fred and lee in the back and me standing along ready to ask her and once we kiss, when she says yes, fireworks from Fred and lee! We got prepared finally.

" you think she'll really like this, like me" I asked putting up streamers.

"Of course she will mate" lee said from below me.

"She'll probably be happy with you just asking her it's been bloody long enough" Fred laughed.

I was excited to see her, to watch her eyes light up and her smile. After about 30 minutes we got everything set up, earlier she had came in with wood so we all had to hide before so it took a little longer than planned. We all got into position and waited.

30 minutes passed by and nothing

An hour..

An hour and a half..

Two hours...

Two and a half..

I slumped down on the cashier desk. "She's not coming".

"She might mate!" Fred tried to cheer me up.

"Yeah she wouldn't say she's gonna come if she wasn't" lee added.

Then the door opened. We all got back into position only to find, Neville.

"Mate I don't know what your doing but this is too romantic for Me" he said giving me a weird look.

" it's not for you, you git" I sighed "it was for y/n".

"Oh" he looked down. "Mate she  went back to the castle awhile ago" he gave me a sympathetic look.

I felt even more upset. I flicked my wand and made all the decorations disappear.

"Mate" Fred called after me.

I just walked out and trudged back to the castle. How could she forget us, forget me! She just slowly faded out of my life this year and I couldn't even blame her, I made it happen. I walked into the castle and started up the stairs when I met with Angelina.

"Who'd you get flowers for" she asked smiling.

"Oh um-no one... do you want them though?" I asked and she nodded. I handed her the flowers and walked into the common room and up the stairs, I plopped down on my bed putting my hands over my face. I sighed and laid there for a moment before getting up. I went to walk back out the door but anger came over me and I punched the door hard letting my hand go through.

"Great" I thought.

Y/n's POV

I was already in my dorm and on my bed reading a book when I heard Angelina coming up, I had to ask her if I could borrow a pair of her quidditch gloves so I quickly got up.

"Hey Angie- woah who got you those" you asked staring at the beautiful bouquet. They were your favorite sunflowers and roses.

"George gave me them" she smiled.

"Oh" you sunk back mentally.

"Did you need anything" she asked.

"No no, I uh- nevermind" you looked up at her with a half smile.
