You and your friends were sat in the Gryffindor common room. The golden trio left to the library or something so it was just you, the twins, and Lee. You were sat next to George on the couch Lee on the floor next to Fred. Fred and George were discussing some joke items to sell at school.
" what if we made a candy that made your brain go all wonky !" George exclaimed.
"No... we might kill someone with that" Fred shut it down and went back to thinking.
"At this rate we'll never save enough for our joke shop" George laid down his head in your lap.
You got butterflies and blushed slightly putting your hand in his hair. You were all thinking very hard, there had to be something.

"What about candies that make your tounge large! It would be funny no one dies and easily reversible!" You looked at Fred with wide eyes.

"Wicked" the twins said looking at each other.

Fred looked at George and signaled to you and then winked, somehow without you seeing, George went bright red and sat up.

"Brilliant you are darling!" George sat up squishing your face.

"I learned from the best" you smirked at him " Fred of course" you laughed and he let your face go.

"She's not wrong mate" Fred laughed along.

You were all in fits of laughter till you felt yourself being lifted off of the couch. George threw you over his shoulder. Your face towards his back.

"George- put me down!" You said between laughing.

"Never" he ran around the common room.

"Fred! Fred help me please!" You looked at the other twin.

"Sorry y/n/n you got yourself into this one you can get yourself out" Fred said sprawling out on the couch crossing his legs and putting his arms to his head.

"Be careful with her weasley! She's small!" Lee said worriedly.

"She's fine she's fine" George swung around you flying a bit.

"Ok George put me down now" you said settling down.

"Say I'm your favorite twin!!" He laughed.

As he said that Fred turned to you with a "you better not" look on his face. You were turning red.
" I can't do that!" You wiggled to try and get out of his grasp.

"Then sorry love you won't be set down" he ran around longer.

You got an idea. Not a rather good one but an idea. George was laughing even harder and stopped behind the couch to catch his breath. You lifted your arm and shaped your fingers to pinch his bum. He squealed and let go of you quickly to grab his cheek. With that, you fell off his shoulder with no Time to catch yourself. You hit the wooden floor hard, head first. You groaned grabbing your forehead still lying on the floor.

"Oh my Godric I'm sorry y/n are you okay?" George turned to look at you.

Fred was now leaning over the couch and Lee was standing over your head. You didn't say anything in response due to your head spinning quickly.

"Great mate! You killed her!" Lee hit George.
George leaned down and lifted your hand from your head.

"I'm fine" you fluttered your eyes open.
George was looking at your hand with shock and looked back at you.

"Bloody hell George!" Fred got up quickly to sit next to him looking at you.

You had a large cut on your forehead and it was bleeding a lot.

"For Godrics sake.. I'll take you to our washroom I'll fix it I'm sorry" he said frantically helping you up.

"It's fine Georgie it's not too bad" you tried to reassure him which was not at all working.

"No no come with me", he dragged you to a bathroom holding your hand and an arm around your waist.

Your head still hurting and you were still dizzy but you decided not to say anything you could see George was full of regret. Nothing a little magic couldn't fix anyways. George lifted you slightly so you could sit on his sink. He wet a towel and started cleaning the blood off your hand and head. He stood between your legs. The tension was there and you weren't sure if he could feel it as-well. He was focused on your head. They way his brows furrowed the rest of his face went with it. He looked gorgeous. All you wanted to do was kiss him right then and there. He put his hand on your knee to steady himself, the contact made electricity course through you. You looked through the bathroom window thinking you saw glowing yellow eyes.

"George what is that" you pointed at the window and nothing was there

"What ?" He turned "y/n there's nothing there" he said worriedly.

"I thought I seen- nevermind" you shook your head.

"Bloody hell I did drop you hard" his eyes widened and remembered the spell to close your wound,

"This might sting" he spoke up.
"Percuro" he flicked his wand at you.

You winced a little and he squeezed your leg a little harder which made butterflies spread from your stomach to everywhere in your body.

"How do I look" you smiled at him.

"Normal. Like y/n" he chuckled.

You guys laughed for a minute then made eye contact. You both slowly started to stop and focus on each other. He leaned in a bit as did you. You guys were closer than ever, you could see all the freckles on his cheeks. He grabbed your face and Just like a flash you two were kissing, passionately. Electricity went through the both of you as George pulled your body in closer to his. It felt like you two could go on forever but you each pulled back not really wanting to. You were both shocked at your actions. The door flung open to reveal Fred and Lee.

"Everything alright?" Fred questioned bringing up an eyebrow.

"Uh yeah- I - I should start laying down, first day of lessons tomorrow" you scurried out and to your dorm.

"What was that about" Lee asked.

"Uhhhh" George was standing awkwardly watching you leave.

You felt full of heat and didn't know how to handle it, you just laid down in your bed not sleeping. All you could think about how good it felt to be with George. No no no this can't be happening, he was your best mate, you couldn't have these feelings because you needed him. You needed him to stay with you , always.
