     Everyone was sitting in the Gryffindor common room shouting and cheering around Harry. You sat in awe watching Harry with the golden egg.

"You want me to open it?!" He egged the crowd.

"Godric Harry.." you muttered at the egotistical sound Harry let out.

As Harry opened the egg screeching came out making everyone cover their ears.

"Bloody hell, what was that" Ron said in the room that was now quiet.
"Alright everyone, go back to your knitting, this is gonna be uncomfortable enough without all you nosy suds listening in" Fred shooed everyone away.

You went with the twins and sat on the stairs as the two best friends made up.

"No no I did" Ron smiled "hermione  you that Seamus told me that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid's looking for you.. Seamus actually never said anything, it was me all along, thought we'd be alright after you figured that out" he laughed.

"How could I have possibly figured that out. That's completely mental" Harry laughed.

"Just kiss and make up you lot!" Y/n yelled from the staircase the twins snickering behind her.

"Bloody hell y/n shut up! Maybe we will!" Ron yelled not knowing what he was saying.

"What" Harry stared.

"What" Ron now realized what he said.

Y/n laughed getting up and leaving the stairway.

"Not coming to ours tonight?" George asked.

"I will later, got to go to mines and get something" you smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek.

George lit up the same way he always did when he was with y/n.Fred knew his brother was completely and utterly in love with her. He smiled happily knowing his brother found someone who loved him just as much.

Y/n  made her way to her dorm. She walked in to find Cho and Cedric laughing.

"Well hello" you walked by unphased.

"Oh yes, I, uh" Cedric stuttered.

"Dads here?" You laughed.

"Yes" he mentally relaxed. "See you later cho" he smiled as you both walked out.

As soon as you got out the door "you fact cho Chang!" You gasped.

"Do not!" He protested,

"Do too!" You protested back.

" just a little bit" he gave in

"I knew it!" You laughed.

You and Cedric made it to the courtyard to talk with Amos, who was very happy.

"Congrats my son!" He smiled hugging him. "Hello my darling" he hugged you with a kiss on the head.

"Hi dad" you smiled and nuzzled into his arm.

"So I'll be going home tonight and won't be back till the last task, Cedric this is for you" he pulled out a large box.

Cedric opened it placing the box on the chair, pulling out a nice black dress coat "dress wear? For what?" He asked confusingly.

"You'll know tomorrow in lessons" Amos winked "love you both!" He walked away humming.

You and Cedric exchanged a confusing look before walking back into the castle. You walked in silence for a moment.

"Do you have any idea what the egg is?" You questioned.

"No" he bluntly replied.

"Well maybe it might be.." you started before Cedric cut you off.

"Look y/n I can figure it out" he angrily replied.

You were in shock for a moment seeing as Cedric never got mad at you. You looked for answers before you finally got it.

"Are you scared?" You asked softly.

Cedric stopped dead in his tracks before looking at you years brimming his eyes. You quickly pulled him into a hug.you felt his body relax.

"This money.. it can help us" he mumbled.

"We don't need it." You replied softly "please"

Cedric pulled away looking at you with sympathy. "It's going to help me be by myself after hogwarts, and it will leave you and dad set"

"Cedric please just be safe, you burned your arm for all we know this next task could have you drowning with mermaids" you tried to joke but were tearing up.

"What did you say?" He looked.

"Be safe?" You asked.

"No after that"he shook his head.

"Drown with mermaids?" You questioned again.

"Mermaids!" He ran off faster than you e ever seen.

You were left with questions until you figured out what Cedric did not too long ago. You laughed knowing you helped him. You began to walk up into your dorm and of course, it was empty. Except for an owl tapping at your window holding two boxes the same size as cedrics. You opened the window giving the owl some food before taking the boxes.

My dearest niece and godson,

Here are some dress clothes you'll be needing soon. Moony helped me pick them out. Seems to formal for me, but what do I know, y/n save me a dance my dear.

You smiled and ran to Ron and Harry's dorm with the boxes.

"Harry!" You called.

"Harry Potter get out here!" You laughed as you went into their dorm.

"Bloody hell y/n what if I was naked" Ron gasped.

"Boohoo where's my cousin?" You laughed.

"Here" Harry came through the dorm.

You quickly handed him his package and sat on his bed. You both ripped open the packages which contained dress clothes. Harry's were silky white and black with nice shoes. Yours was a beautiful ashy purple dress with flowers and tulle. You smiled just imagining George's face.

"Not a word to your brother" you pointed your finger at Ron.

"Got it" he raised his hands in defense "he will love that on you" Ron smiled.

"Thanks Ron" you smiled back.

You put your dress back in it's box and back to your room. Whatever it was for, you couldn't wait to see what George's reaction would be.
