All the friends you make
And all the friends you
forget along the way
Years go by day by day
Promises of forever
Vows to always stay
Change from maybe today
to an entire lifetime away
Miles walked side by side
And smiles of childhood play
all become a wistful someday
A final goodbye by an arm's wave
