If you're too afraid to fly
There's no way you're ever going to land.
And if you're too afraid to swim
There's no way you're ever going to float.
Sometimes it's alright to stay where you are,
But when you find that you haven't moved
Even after repeated phases of the moon,
Or that you're in the same place
Wading water just trying to save face
While the stars lose their shine and fade,
Then it's time you shook yourself awake
And took a look at the parts
That make you who you are.
It's time to reach up and touch the sky,
So let go and take a dive.
