Aliens of London- Part 2
"And where do you think you're going?"
The Historian and the Doctor turned around to Rose slowly, thinking of a lie together. "Nowhere." The doctor said. "It's just a bit human in there for us. History just happened and they're talking about where you can buy dodgy top-up cards for half price. We're off on a wander, that's all."
"Right. There's a spaceship on the Thames and you're just wandering."
The Historian shrugged at her. " Nothing to do with us. It's not an invasion. That was a genuine crash landing. Angle of descent, colour of smoke, everything. It's perfect."
"So?"
" So maybe this is it. First contact."
The Doctor nodded with a grin. "The day mankind officially comes into contact with an alien race. I'm not interfering because you've got to handle this on your own. That's when the human race finally grows up. Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay. Now you can expand. You don't need us. Go and celebrate history. Spend some time with your mum."
"Promise you won't disappear?"
He reached into his pocket and tossed her something. A small key. "Tell you what. Tardis key. It's about time you had one. See you later."
As the Historiann historian the doctor headed away from rose, she looked up and said "we're going to Albion Hospital, arent we?"
He grinned to her and nodded. "You bet we are."

The Historian and Doctor found themselves inside a storeroom. The doctor whipped his sonic from his pocket and tried it on the door. It echoes around the room and he glared down at it, hoping it would help silence the sound.
They got the door open and the Hisorian strolled through... and into a meeting of the Red Berets... the Parachute Regiment. They stare at each other in silence for a moment, then the soldiers grab their weapons and point them at the Doctor and Historian. They heard a scream down the hallway and the Doctor jumped into action.
"Defence plan delta! Come on. Move! Move!"
"Defence plan delta?" The historian whispered.
"No idea that would work." He admitted quietly as they lead the soldiers down towards the morgue...
They burst inside, and a woman who had a large cut on her hand yelled out from under a table "It's alive!"
The Hisotiran scanned the room, looking for any signs of life as the doctor said "Spread out. Tell the perimeter it's a lockdown."
" My god. It's still alive." She screeched in the corner.
" Do it!"

"I swear it was dead." Sato, the woman in the morgue told the Doctor and Historian.
" Coma, shock, hibernation, anything. What does it look like?" He asked her. Just then, something metal fell over and clanged onto the floor. "It's still here."
The Historian nodded to a soldier as she peered slowly behind a cabinet... where she saw a small, pig creature in a space suit. "Hello." She said.
Then, it jumped out beside her on its hind legs, running down the hallway. Th3 Historian flew back on the floor, but managed to roll over, shouting. "Don't shoot!"
The doctor and Historian ran out into the corridor where another soldier shot the pig creature. It squealed and fell down onto the floor. "What did you do that for!?" She shouted at the soldier."It was scared! It was scared."

"I just assumed that's what aliens look like, but you're saying it's an ordinary pig from Earth." Sato asked as she looked over the doctors shoulder. The Historian looked over the body and nodded.
"More like a mermaid." She said. "Victorian showmen used to draw the crowds by taking the skull of a cat, gluing it to a fish and calling it a mermaid."
The Doctor nodded along with her. "Now someone's taken a pig, opened up it's brain, stuck bits on, then they've strapped it in that ship and made it dive bomb. It must've been terrified. They've taken this animal and turned it into a joke."
"So it's a fake, a pretend, like the mermaid." Sato asked. " But the technology augmenting its brain, it's like nothing on Earth. It's alien. Aliens are faking aliens. But why would they do that? Doctor?"
The Historian was pulled down the hallway with the Doctor and back inside the TARDIS.

The Historian and the Doctor stood about the TARDIS as she doors opened. The Historian Historian around and saw Rose stood there. "All right, so we lied. We went and had a look. But the whole crash landing's a fake. I thought so. Just too perfect. I mean, hitting Big Ben. Come on, so we thought let's go and have a look-"
Rose interrupted her. "My mum's here."
The Doctor groaned. " Oh, that's just what I need. Don't you dare make this place domestic."
Another voice rang out. The Historian looked to the door and saw Mickey. "You ruined my life, Doctor, Historian. They thought she was dead. I was a murder suspect because of you."
"You see what I mean? Domestic."
"I bet you don't even remember my name."
The doctor grinned. "Ricky."
"It's Mickey."
" No, it's Ricky."
"I think I know my own name."
The doctor shock his head as Jackie backed out of the TARDIS. "You think you know your own name? How stupid are you?"
Rose groaned and followed herother out of the TARDIS. "Mum, don't! Don't go anywhere. Don't start a fight!"
"Didnt think she'd stick around." She Historianittered to the doctor, watching Jackie run out the doors.
"Mothers." He muttered to her.
Seconds later Rose came back in. " That was a real spaceship." She said
"Yep." The Timelords nodded.
" So it's all a pack of lies? What is it, then? Are they invading?"
"Funny way to invade, putting the world on red alert." Mickey chimed in.
The Doctor whipped around to him and said "Good point! So, what're they up to?"
