Dalek- Part one
The Historian pressed a button frantically as the TARDIS materialised inside a museum. " So what is it? What's wrong?" Rose asked the pair frantically.
She shook her head and said "Don't know. Some kind of signal drawing the Tardis off course."
"Where are we?"
The Doctor shook his head at her and said "Earth. Utah, North America. About half a mile underground."
"And when are we?"
" Two thousand and twelve." The Doctor read.
"God, that's so close. So I should be twenty six."
The Historian found a light switch on the wall of the museum. "Ah! Light! Here we are."
"Blimey. It's a great big museum." Rose said with wide eyes as they stared at things behind glass boxes.
The Doctor looked at the Historian. "Oi, Historian look, An alien museum. Someone's got a hobby. They must have spent a fortune on this."
"Chunks of meteorite, moon dust..." the Historian said as she stared through the boxes, seeing something she recognised from a spaceship. "That's the milometer from the Roswell spaceship."
"That's a bit of Slitheen! That's a Slitheen's arm. It's been stuffed."
The Historian came along and looked at it. "That's... both amazing and... terrifying."
"You're telling me." Rose murmured back.
The Historian looked onto the next thing... and a sense of sheer hatred and fear ran through her blood, up to her two hearts. "Doctor." she called.
"Yea- oh... hello." He said, stopping in front of the metallic cybermen.
"What is it...?" Rose asked her quietly, eyeing the Doctor wearily.
"An old friend of ours. Well, enemy. The stuff of nightmares reduced to an exhibit." She turned to the Doctor. "We're getting old."
"Is that where the signal's coming from?"
Tje Doctor shook his head. " No, it's stone dead. The signal's alive. Something's reaching out, calling for help."
The Doctor reached up and touched the exhibit, and an alarm sounded through the room. "Okay... TARDIS." The Historian called out the Alarm. They all turned to run to it, but were blocked off by armed guards.
Rose turned to the Doctor and Historian. "If someone's collecting aliens, that makes you two Exhibit A."
Rose, the Historian and Doctor were taken into an office by some workers. The historian noticed a guy in here, holding onto something she seemed to recognise... but he was holding it wrong.
A man, clearly in charge, looked at the other, holding the tube.
"What does it do?"
"Well, you see the tubes on the side? It must be to channel something. I think maybe fuel."
The Doctor looked at him. " I really wouldn't hold it like that."
One turned to the doctor and glared. "Shut it."
" Really, though, that's wrong."
He looked to the tube, then the Doctor. "Is it dangerous?"
"No, it just looks silly." The Historian smirked as the Doctor reached for it, but firing bolts sounded around them. The man clearly in charge handed the Doctor the object.
