chapter 4: be our guest

Not long after Mondo stormed off to his room, though Taichi and the others had a small plan to make Taka feel more at home

*flash back!*

"Alright. You have the cleaning done, right Tojo?"

"Yes sir." The feather duster repiled, placing over at the spotless dinning room.

"And you, the food is all ready, correct?"
"Why but of course! This little darling will be eating like a king!" The stove said happily, his accent showing though slightly.

"Perfect!" Taichi exclamed "Now, it's time to get Taka!"

"Wait wait wait!" Byakuya interuppted "You heard what Oowada said! We are not going to give him this much if anything at all!"
"Well I'm not going to let the poor boy starve!" Taichi repiled, making Byakuya roll his mechanical eyes.

*end flashback*

So there the teapot was, knocking on Kiyotakas door. Taka thought it was Mondo coming back to yell at him to go down for dinner so he just shouted at him "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Between tears

But to his supprise, a soft voice came from the other side of the door "It's Taichi! I'm here to bring you down stairs for dinner...Mondo is in his room and won't be down till morning." He quickly reasured.

With that Taka and his starving stumic opened the door "Dinner without that monster you say?"

Kiyotaka was sat down in the dinning room with a meal infront of him filled with only the best of the best foods, a spotless room and a grand piano in the background that kept wanting to play songs like 'I pumped out the baby but have no idea who the father is'
A song Taka could tell was unwholesome just from the title.

But to his supprise, he got a small explainiation eventully from none other than Yasuhiro

He explained that when Mondo was only 12 years old, the castel was cursed by a witch,  making Mondo a beast and the servants items.
What he left off, was that the only way to reverse it was for Mondo to fall in love and have that love returned.
What could he say 'We have to set up you and the master to go back to normal'? Well he wanted to but Byakuya shut him up.

"So, after dinner i was thinking you may wish go explore some!" Yasuhiro said, making some conversation with Taka "Just...ya dont wanna trot into Mondos room. Dont worry, it'll probably be the only room thats door is locked." He reasured.

"Alright, thank you!" "No problem dude!"

After dinner Taka explored, looking around and getting use to his new home, learning what was where.

Now, he finally made his way into the West wing, and would he soon regret that desion.

The rooms grew darker and colder the further he went, and soon enough he was surrounded by torn curtains and sheets. But there was also a portrait that caught Takas eye.

He walked over and brushed the canvis with his hand to see it with less of a rip in the way.

The painting was of two boys. One was tall, around the age of 19, had black hair and purple eyes, wearing a sute with the crest seen all around the village of diamonds. No one knew where thw crest came from, just that it was there now.

The other boy is who caught Taka attaion. He could have sworn he had seen the boy before. He had purple eyes just like the other boy, a similar sute to the other boy and he looked to be around 11 years old.

Taka finally stopped staring at the photo and turned, suddenly seeing a soft glow further down the hall of the room.

Curiousity got the better of him and he walked over, nothing could have prepared him for what was to happen next.

What was glowing was a rose, it was in a case and wilting, it had quite a few fallen pettles with very few still holding on, only around 15.

Just before Taka went to touch the glass, the rose and the container was in was quickly taken away from his grasp.

"WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING! FOR THAT MATTER WHY THE HECK ARE YA UP HERE?!?" Mondo shouted, clutching the rose and its case

"WHATS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU SCARD ME HALF TO DEATH!"

"YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED UP HERE!"

"WELL I DIDN'T KNOW THAT! I WAS ONLY TOLD NOT TO GO INTO YOUR ROOM THAT WOULD BE LOCKED!"

Taka and Mondo agrued like this back and forth for almost a hour as some of the servants started to come by and lissten to them.

Eventuality Mondo shouted "YOU WANNA SETTLE THIS LIKE MEN?" "WHY WOULDN'T I?" "ALRIGHT THEN A CONTEST, YOU AND ME! IF I WIN, YOU STAY IN YOUR CELL, AND IF YOU WIN, I LET YOU GO! DEAL?" "DEAL! LETS JUST SEE WHO CAN HANDLE THE SNOW BETTER! WHOEVER GOES INSIDE FIRST LOSES!"

and with that both boys stormed out the room, leaving a very conserned crew of servants "well...this wont end well." Said a camera with a red strap. While a little four leafed clover laughed "Just have hope that this may work for us! I know I do!" "Naw man. There gonna kill eachother." Leon desided for the others.
