A/N: So...... Happy Holidays everyone! :) Just thought I would upload soon again because I'm in a period of inspiration.  I'm finally on Winter Break, and I was so stressed that I just needed the time off, and I am so very glad that I have off from school.  It's only until January 2nd for me, but I'm satisfied with that, only because so many people still have to work through the holidays.  For that reason, I'm thankful that I have the time off that I do have, and I won't complain.  Those of you who also do not have to work during the holidays... make sure that you stop and appreciate the fact that you have the time to sit back and relax on the holidays, and respect the people that you may know who still have to work and might be a little grumpy.  You'd probably be a little moody too if you had to work.  Just a little something to consider.

Anyway.............

Amaya’s Pov

This was getting me nowhere.  I huffed again in frustration as I failed, once again to see anything more than the darkest veins on the leaf and hear only the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves on the trees.  I looked to the silver-blue wolf for help, but she just had a light in her eyes as if she was laughing.

“It’s not funny!” I mumbled, trying to focus once more.

Little one, it seems as if you still cannot realize what you are doing wrong.  It is clear that you are trying very hard, so I will give you some credit for that.  However, you are focusing your determination in the wrong manner.  At the beginning, you were much closer.  Somewhere along the line though, you started to try to listen to what you cannot hear.

“Isn’t that the point though?  I am supposed to hear what I cannot at this moment, and see what I could see before.  How am I doing wrong?  Please explain more, I do not understand.”

I will not explain, however… I will give you a little lesson.  A child who is born with eyelids glued shut, will never see the light of day, correct?  Now, if one day that child was finally able to open her eyes, she would not be able to bear seeing all of the things she could not see before all at once.  However, if little by little she slowly saw one thing at a time, looking at every object slowly and gradually—as if testing the water and slowly submerging herself instead of diving straight in—then she would not be blinded once more.  Think about this for a few moments, and start trying again.

I listened to her, only because I trusted her words.  She was right.  After taking a deep breath and discovering a new perspective, I began listening once more.  Now that I was in a better mind set, accomplishing the tasks the she-wolf had set for me may not be so difficult.  Just maybe…

Sara’s Pov

“Roza still has not woken up yet?” Ren, the Beta of Hayate’s pack, asked me quietly.

I looked at him with a grim look on my face. “No… she hasn’t.  I am truly hoping that she has not crossed into the Free Spirit Realm, although I fear that is the case.  She always wanted to be able to help someone with her ability… however, if she has, indeed traveled to that realm to assist Amaya… their fates may be tied together.”
