A/N: I know. It's been about five months. Sorry everyone. You know, life and stuff. Just hit another crazy up-down patch on the roller coaster. Things get good, things get bad. But I don't care much about the stuff I can't control anymore. I'm just going to say "screw the stuff I can't control" and have a good time. I'm just going to be happy and possibly obnoxiously hyper just cause I want to. And if someone has a problem with that... then it's their problem, not mine. I love you all, just saying!
Anyway, that's enough of my ranting...

Hayate’s Pov
“Let me get this straight; Roza thinks that the triplets, as one being, are helping Amaya in that place?” Sara nodded as I continued to pace in the front lawn. “And Ren is watching over Roza to make sure she doesn’t enter that place again?” She nodded again. “And there is no change in Amaya’s condition?”
“Will you stop pacing, dammit! You’re making me dizzy,” Sara snapped and placed her hands on her hips before continuing, “She is fine. She will be fine. If I have to knock you over the head to put you into a coma until she wakes up, then I will.”
You might want to listen to her, Alpha. She looks like my mother right about now.
I whirled to look at Ren, who was watching our conversation from a window on the second floor of the pack house. Roza was standing next to him, tugging on his arm. She was probably trying to get him to stop bugging me. He flashed a grin at me before letting Roza pull him away from the window. That was strange. Was there something going on between the two of them?
“Yoohoo! Earth to Hayate?”
Sara waved a hand in front of my face. I whacked it away in irritation. “Alright, alright. I get it. I need to stop pacing and zoning out. But I don’t tell me to stop worrying.”
She grunted. “I swear… I was never this bad with my mate.”
My glare made her flinch. I needed to hunt; it would help me blow off some steam. Without another word to her, I shifted and bolted into the woods, letting the pent up stress get blown away by the air swirling around me.

Amaya’s Pov
Wake up, little one.
I slowly stretched and then rolled onto my side. “I dun wanna…” I mumbled into a patch of fur.
Suddenly, I was flopped a good foot onto the ground. “Ooof!”
I sat up and made a face at the she-wolf. “What was that for?”
Amusement glittered in her eyes. What was what for? I did not do a thing.
“Lies,” I mumbled. She nudged me when I tried to sleep again. “Alright, alright, I’m up!”
You have more work today, child.
“I know, I know.”
Might as well get started bright and early…
