A/N: So... Chapter 6!!!  Thanks to all my new fans =)  I think I'm up to 27 fans, and I have 63 votes and 27 comments on this story.  And my story went up to #273 on Werewolf, which is more than I ever really thought I would accomplish, but I'm not complaining.  Did I mention that I love you guys?  I've been trying to upload every three to five days, so I don't leave you guys waiting for too long on the next chapter, because I know how impatient people can get when they have to wait to see what happens next. (I'm one of the impatient ones XD lol)

Anyway, before I end up babbling like I usually do--- oh wait, I already was--- Read, Comment, Vote, and Enjoy! =)

Hayate’s POV

I silently watched Amaya’s sleeping form in my arms.  I silently wondered if she had heard what I said to her before she fell asleep.  Not that it mattered if she hadn’t heard me.  I would tell her when she was fully awake and aware… eventually.

You cannot go on forever without making sure she hears your feelings,my wolf scolded me.

I know, I replied softly before he left my mind.

I thought about Amaya’s wolf silently as I gently stroked her hair.  From her pitch black hair, no one would ever guess that she was a white wolf.  I remembered the unique star patch on her forehead.  It was a beautiful, shiny silver color.  And her eyes remained that amazing sapphire blue.  If my wolf was to stand next to hers, we would look like night and day at the same time.  I smiled at that thought.

Gasp!  Our Alpha is becoming whipped, Ren said through telepathy.  While we were in wolf form, that came in handy.  But right now, it irritated the hell out of me.

You were listening to your Alpha’s thoughts?  I growled back, glaring at him while he drove.

Hey, now, relax.  I was just being observant, plus I didn’t want to wake Amaya.  I thought I should warn you to shield your thoughts soon.  If you were paying attention to anything other than your ‘not official’ mate, you would have realized that we’re almost at the pack house, and I doubt you want everyone knowing yet.

I sighed.  Ren had a point.  I didn’t want the entire pack knowing.  To be blunt, I didn’t want him knowing either, but at least I could trust him to keep it a secret as my Beta.  I looked out of the window to see that we were pulling into the long driveway that led to the pack house.  I had almost forgotten about the pack meeting today– sheesh, I needed to pull my head together– I’m an Alpha, for crying out loud!  However, I could never seem to think straight with Amaya so close to me.

I contemplated about where I would take Amaya; if she didn’t wake up when we got to the pack house.  I did not know if she would want to meet the pack yet; I did not need her getting overwhelmed.

I was still indecisive when the car came to a halt.  The woman standing outside my  door made me cringe.  Reluctantly, I opened the door and got out of the car, leaving Amaya in the car for a moment.

“Oh, Hayate!  I missed you so much!” she squealed in a high girlish voice.

I flinched at her annoying voice; Kaori Noire was the most obvious of all the females in the pack– she was a power-hungry bitch, literally.  I could tell that she wanted to be my mate, but that would never happen– even if I had not found Amaya back then…
