A/N: So... I'm finally starting to get back into the flow with things!! I feel like I have an unlimited supply of energy, and I plan on using a lot of it on my stories. I'm going to try to upload once every one to two weeks, although some of you know how well that has gone in the past. Anyway... I hope you are all ready for this chapter... I wonder what questions are running through your heads... Maybe things like 'Are the triplets really dead?' 'Will Harou still fight Amaya?' 'Will Amaya get hurt?' 'Will Hayate and the others save her?' 'Is this writer done babbling yet so I can read the next chapter?!' Hahahaha =)
Anyway...
Read,
Vote,
Comment,
And..... Enjoy!!! =)

Hayate’s POV
I heard Amaya’s wolf let loose a long, devastated howl, and I froze, as did Akuma, Mai, and Sara at my side. We had finally reached Amaya—just a quarter of a mile away from her—and we had seen the three girls merge into a woman of the night, glow with the many colors of life, and… we had seen them die. I wanted nothing more than to run to my mate right now and comfort her, but my paws were frozen.
Why can’t I move? I need to go to her. She’s wounded—physically, mentally, and emotionally right now. Why?
Baka, you know why. If you go near her right now, and stop her from what she is about to do… things in the future will change. What is about to happen must happen… it’s something we wolves cannot explain to you… not yet. Just watch. If Amaya collapses, then you may go to her.
I growled back at my wolf. Most of the time, a person’s wolf could not control everything unless the person consented to it. My heart was clenching as I watched my lovely mate cry in wolf form. Why…? I whispered again to myself.

Amaya's POV
Once my wolf cut off our howl, she turned to glare at Harou, who was just getting back to his paws. Whereas his fur was blood red before, it was now a pale bloody red that made me want to vomit. Both of us were already suffering from our wounds—he had a long laceration from his shoulder down to his thigh, and I had deep scratches and bite marks all over me. I knew that patches of dried blood marred my luminescent white coat. The only advantage I had at this point was the fact that none of my wounds were still bleeding.
Harou made no sound. He did not even move for a full two minutes. Then I felt my wolf shift—she was going to say something to him.
‘You truly are foolish, Harou Kottan,’ she began slowly, and I watched as his eyes narrowed. ‘Why are you so persistent? You know that taking Amaya will not bring your twin… or your wife back from the dead. And yet you continue to try it… even now.’
My wolf continued to speak as he lunged at her, growling viciously. ‘What did you hope to achieve? You wasted away so many years of your life. Do you think your wife or your twin wanted that? Did you stop to think of them once in this conquest of yours?’
