A/N: Soooo sorry everyone =( I know it has been forever (almost a month) since my last upload, and I hope no one hates me too much. I'd like everyone to know that I have officially changed Amaya's age to eighteen, and a few minor details have been changed in previous chapters when her age is mentioned.

Amaya’s POV
“How in the seven hells do you think you can just waltz in and kill him? You may be sort of half-vampires, but you just recently got your powers. And no offense, but I don’t even think that you know how to use them yet.”
I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head, and I looked at Mimi to find her glaring at me.
“Mimi, stop it!” Maria growled.
The pain faded away slowly. “Did I not say no offense?” I directed my question at Mimi, “And I see that you do have an idea of what you are doing.”
Mimi shrugged, “Offense was taken.”
“Amaya,” Nel began, “Identical triplets are extremely rare. We look different because we want to appear different to one another. Our bond ties our blood, minds, hearts, and souls together. Alone, fighting an enemy is a challenge. But together, we rival even the strongest shape-shifters alive. We have powers, powers that are unique. It is unheard of for identical triplets to ever be turned all at once. You would be amazed at how much we can assist you.”
Maria spoke up, “I can see random glimpses of the future, although it has only happened once since we turned into something inhuman; and I have unparalleled healing abilities. Nel has the ability to teleport, and sense the presence of shifters with bad intentions—which I like to call her warning device. And Mimi can attack a shifter’s mind, and her strength is higher than that of most of the strongest vampires and shifters. I am not entirely sure, but I believe that if the three of us merge together at the right time, we can help you.”
“But why are you here right now? Hayate and the others will not make it here quickly—it will take them several days! You cannot be here!” I growled.
“Duh; I can teleport,” Nel retorted.
“Try to stay safe for a few days, okay Amaya?” Maria asked.
“Yeah—we’ll be back,” Mimi added.
I stared as they joined hands and vanished. “I swear I’m hallucinating,” I muttered to myself aloud.
“Are you now, my dear?”
I froze at the sound of his voice at the door. Pull yourself together, baka, my wolf growled as she forced me to compose myself. I cleared my throat subconsciously. “What are you doing in here?”
“You’re ignoring my question,” he pointed out.
“Go away, Harou,” I snapped.
He paid no attention to my words, walking toward me slowly. I shifted uncomfortably as he came over and sat on the bed beside me. “You really do not want to hide things from me, Amaya. Or I will force you to tell me what you are hiding.”
