A/N: So... just because I had nothing to do all night while my mom finished working (she's my ride to and from work [we work at the same place]), I worked on Chapter 7. Well... at first I forgot that I had my laptop with me, so I decided to be creative. My pant legs were too long on my sweat pants, so I decided to cut them shorter. And then I decided to make gloves with the material that I cut off by repeatedly stapling the fabric in certain spots. And then--- MAGIC--- I had a pair of gloves (you can see them at the right >>>>) If you are thinking that I am insane, that is fine; a) because I am and b) because my mother would agree--- she told me to lay off the caffeine. Lol.
Anyway--- Read

Akuma’s POV
Something was wrong here– I knew something was wrong. I was watching the pack of shape-shifters– young ones playing, some adults playing along, and others just talking. It was too calm. Even the Alpha seemed at ease; he was chatting quietly with his mate.
One of my fellow hunters had told me that there was something going on with this pack, the Silver Rain Pack. I did not know why everyone agreed to send me here. This was the pack that Amaya’s mother ran away from a few years before she met me. I did not know what her position in the hierarchy was– for all I knew she could be a common wolf among the pack. I searched through the pack members, but I could not see her anywhere. Did she run away again? Did she ever even go back to her pack?
The questions swirled around my head, and if I was not too focused on watching the pack, I would have been dizzy.
“What are you doing here?!” A voice whispered, both shocked and angry, in my ear.
I turned around to see the love of my life. “Mai…”

Amaya’s POV
I could not help but notice that they were all staring at me– females glaring and males curious. Ren, Hayate, and I had walked into the pack house approximately ten seconds ago. The pack members had been chatting away like a bunch of bees buzzing, but had abruptly stopped when the three of us walked into the room. The silence was making my stomach do little flips.
Stop being a wimp. My wolf snapped.
Shut up– I’m not being a wimp. Since when does being a little nervous make someone a wimp? I argued, even though there was a good chance that my wolf would win this one.
Nē; baka… As much as I hate being so helpful to you, she said sarcastically, remember; you are the Alpha’s true mate. You cannot walk away from that– because I would never let you– and because you– we– love him. That makes you the Alpha Female. I suggest you deal with it. (A/N: Nē = hey, baka = fool/ idiot)
I sighed aloud as I pondered over her words– as much as I did not want to admit it, she did have a point.
I was pulled away from my thoughts when Ren cleared his throat loudly. He gave me a supportive smile when Hayate dragged me to the front of the room. My hand clutched his like it was a lifeline– I hated being the center of attention.
