The shop was surrounded by a crowd the first time in years. They took pictures of Pro heroes Gang Orca and Endeavor, as they stood beside each side of Oasis. Gang Orca was originally assigned with you however when the rumors surfaced about the L.O.V, Endeavor made it his business to be present.
You stood and watched with Orca behind you and his hands on your shoulders, watching the moving company load boxes into the truck.
After Hound Dog explained to Nezu of your situation, Nezu deemed it fit to keep you on school grounds. With you on school grounds, Nezu believed that there would be less of a chance of encountering Shigaraki. Although you would have been fine with living off campus and near a hero agency, Nezu explained that Shigaraki targeting you was not a problem that should be handled lightly--considering your family's history and quirk.
With the final box in the truck Gang Orca patted your shoulder.
"Everything will be fine now."
You faced the shop, taking in the last view of what was yours and letting the memories of your childhood soak back in.
The books in the greenhouse were all sold, some making it into U.A's library where you would be working at and all the flowers were sold at a lower price. Due to the heroes attending the great sell of Oasis, everything was sold in under 5 hours allowing for the movers to come in and pack everything up before the sun rested.
The truck door slammed down and the movers locked the door shut.
"What a waste of my time," The fire hero huffed before turning his back on everyone.
"No one invited you, Endeavor."
The movers drove off and the crowd started to split, some followed Endeavor and some went on with their lives. The rest that stayed pestered Orca for pictures and autographs, causing Orca to have to pull you in under his arm as you both walked home. Eventually when Gang Orca snorted aggressively to intimidate the rest of the flies that remained, you both were finally unbothered. Orca kept his arm on your shoulder to make you feel secure on the walk while also preventing you from being paranoid about Shigaraki lurking around. Any sight of red sneakers or dark clothing with hoods over their heads caused you to fall into a small panic.
"Orca."
"Yes?"
Scooting closer to his body, you pulled on your wing to have it folded in front of you. "Do I have to be a hero?"
"You don't want to? I have never heard of someone not wanting to be a hero."
You huffed and looked up at him. "It's just that, I don't think I could do it. I can't fly as high as Hawks and.. my toxins is just, they are too dangerous."
"Exactly. If you get the right assistance, I am positive you wouldn't need those gloves of yours."
"Actually it's comforting to have these gloves on."
Orca laughed from his stomach, it was almost like a lion's roar. It even startled some people and caused a few birds to fly away from the trees and lamp post. "Have you ever pet an animal?"
"No."
"Have you touched a squid?"
"Why would I-"
"Have you?"
"No."
"Touching is a want and a need. To feel tough or soft texture. Just because your toxins are preventing you from touching doesn't mean it needs to be permanent. Do you understand?"
