Destruction

As Kisame's lips and fingers caressed her body Kay struggled to remain focused. He felt so good and she wanted more but at this moment she couldn't have it.

Gently pushing herself away from him, she smiled. "Sit," she softly commanded, pointing to his chair. Glancing at his computer screen she saw that he was still logged in but a final identity check prevented anyone but him from accessing the internal files. The files that Mother needed destroyed.

As Kisame sat down and arranged himself so that he was comfortable, he watched the topless firebrand walk over to where she had placed her backpack on a chair in an unused workstation.

When she bent down to retrieve something from inside the bag, her hair brushed across her taut nipples and Kisame licked his lips, wanting to wrap his tongue around them. Standing upright, Kay turned to Kisame.

"This isn't some kinky game you've thought up?" Kisame asked, his grin lopsided.

Kay gave a light laugh and assured him no. "However..." she purred, her finger stroking the object in her hands.

Quickly turning to face him and walking up to him she pressed the barrel of the gun against Kisame's temple. He was caught completely by surprise and frozen where he sat.

"What are you doing?" He questioned, asking slowly and clearly, a hint of an edge in his voice. She suppressed her arousal at the hard tone.

"It's just business, handsome. Nothing personal."

In a bid for freedom, Kisame lunged forward and grabbed the barrel of the gun, pulling it down hard and forcing Kay off balance. While he still had the initiative he tried to grab her wrists together and force her into a submissive position. Then he could call for backup and she would be arrested. She turned it to be a little more slippery than he gave her credit for.

With one hand still clutching the gun, the other punched Kisame in the temple. His grip weakened as dizziness took over his mental faculties but he still would not let go. With a snarl of frustration, she brought up her arm and slammed her elbow onto the arm that was holding the weapon.

Kisame screamed when he felt his radius and ulna fracture and his grip finally loosened. She pulled away sharply and slapped aside his other arm which half heartedly reached for her.

He felt nauseous, faint, and the tinnitus from the blow to the head drowned out anything she was saying. He could barely focus his eyes on her as she approached him. She was saying something. Her eyes looked a little sad.

Kisame sat slumped in his chair, dazed. Kay bent down and kissed him, gently and with tenderness. She pressed the barrel of the gun against his temple, again, and whispered something. There was a flash, the scent of acrid smoke, and blood and brains splattering over the computer.

Her trembling hand lowered the gun and she stood there for a time, looking at his corpse. He looked so peaceful.

I wonder what we could have had if not for Mother...

"Kay?" Her earplug crackled to life. Lifting her hand to the ear piece she pressed a small button.

"It is done." Her voice sounded tired and hollow. She wanted nothing more than to get out of this oppressive building but she still had three tasks to complete before her mission was over.

"Hurry! We need to get out of here before the Uchiha see us!"

"On it."

She dropped her hand from the ear piece. Picking up Kisame's right hand, she folded the fingers until just his thumb stood out. She wiped the blood and flecks of brain off the digit and laid it on a small, glowing blue pad. The scanner made its usual whirring noises before two quick chimes let her know that the computer accepted his identification.

As she watched on the screen, files and folders, photos, labs, reports, everything the City PD had on any criminal, singular or organizational, was wiped. Gone. Forever.

"Get out," came the order, Shinju's voice practically piercing her eardrum in its intensity. It was time for her second task.

Kay grabbed her bra and shirt off the floor where they had been discarded during their moment of passion. Dressing quickly and grabbing by her backpack, she exited the room, stepping over the corpse of Kisame's assistant who was nearly decapitated and horrifically mutilated, with the word "WHORE" etched into her torso.

She walked through the station gunning down anyone she saw. Shinju's distraction was working well; hardly anyone remained. She reached the holding cells and, using the keys taken from a freshly murdered guard, she opened the cells.

"Go."

With one word the cell emptied, the former inmates nearly crushing each other to get out and away from the methodical woman for whom killing was just another day in the office. "Be free," she whispered before heading up to the rooftop.

"Status?" The earpiece came alive again.

"Close to being done. How's your end?" Kay replied, her breathing a little quick as she took the stairs two at a time.

"Transfer complete. Malware inserted. Communications and infrastructure down in 3... 2... 1."

The lights around her fizzled out and an eerie low drone sound filled the air. Everything powered down and the silence was suffocating. She hastened her pace and soon reached the rooftop.

The City was blacked out. Even emergency lights weren't on. A 21st century city was now no more advanced than it was 100 or so years ago. With technology disabled and gone it would take years to get everything up and running to the same standard as before.

Kay looked around, orientating herself in the darkness and soon found what she had stashed. She jogged over to the edge of the roof and found her harpoon gun. Aiming it at a small building, she fired and watched the bolt and line unfurl and pierce into the stonework of the small shop.

Strapping the weapon to her back, she undid her belt and used it to slide down the improvised zip line. Reaching the ground she cut the rope and began running away. Ducking into back alleys, doubling back, leaving red herring trails, she made sure she wasn't followed. Once she had reached a safe enough distance she pulled a small box from her backpack.

"This is it..." she muttered as she turned the small device over in her hands. Looking at the night sky above where the police station would be she pressed the button.

Loud explosions burst out of the building. A concussive shock wave shattered glass, upended vehicles, knocked down streetlights and killed those in the blast zone as they lay in bed.

She flicked a small switch and pressed the button again. This time the monolithic skyscraper that housed the financial health and wealth of the City exploded.

Flicking the switch to its final position and pressing the button one last time, the Mayor's Building, a vast historic estate, detonated. Pein died where he sat and while signing a new and harsher martial law into effect. When his widow, Konan, went to bury him, all the pieces of Pein they could find could fit into a shoebox.

Kay stared at the gorgeous symphony of destruction she had unleashed, mesmerized by the clouds of billowing oily smoke, the dancing flames seeking more sustenance and listening to the melody of falling glass shards hitting the pavement.

It was over. Time for her to go. With a heavy sigh, she swung her leg over the motorcycle that she had found amongst the destruction and opened its throttle. Their mercy ship would be leaving soon and she had to make sure she was on it.
