Chapter twelve

>Meanwhile in Asgard<
"Mother" Thor shouted out happily as he saw his mother Frigga. "Thor. I didn't expect you here. But I'm happy to see you." She smiled. "Can we talk about something or more about someone?" Thor asked politely as both of them walking thru the halls. "Sure. Go ahead." She replied smiling. "You know the whole Avengers thing in Midgard and Loki is doing a great job. But for a few months, there is this goddess.  We never heard anything about her but we have the feeling to know her like she is very familiar. Loki had this powerful and loving bond with her since the first moment she entered the room."  He explained the whole situation and then finally asked his mother. "You should know something about her. About their relationship. Please tell me what you know. What happened?" "It's a hard one. And I'm not allowed to tell you all. But there is something I could tell you" she answered.

"It's true, both of you knew the goddess of mind, for a very long time. She worked for the palace but fall in love with the wrong person. Many years later she made some bad decisions that dramatically changed her life. To protect you and Loki, your father Odin forced her to erase every memory of her. It was right after the incident with the guards. After she erased both of your memories she was sent to prison for her crime. She was forced to erase her memory too, every year again, for over 20 years. In the last ten years, she didn't have to do it anymore. It was no need for it anymore, it was like she accepted her faith. She had to change her memory like her crime was minutes ago and that she has to lose bad or good feelings. But it took some time before the process got to an end. And that's why she was sent down to earth after another ten years. Your father wanted her away from here, away from his son. Loki. But he couldn't kill her. She is too strong and bounded her life at Loki's life. To keep her safe, so your father could not kill her without killing your brother."

Thor looked in shook at his mother. "You knew everything from the very beginning?" He asked. "No. Your father told me what happened when she was already in prison for about 8 years. It's up to you if you believe every little detail. As I said earlier I'm not allowed to tell you everything. I already told you too much." She replied calmly. "Thank you mother" Thor smiled in her direction. "Let's eat something before you're going back," she said and both of them walking towards the dining hall. "Do you remember something now?" She asked Thor at the dining table. "No. Not really. I tried to remember something. I have the feeling that I owe it Loki. Like I wasn't there for him when he needed me the most." Thor replied with a sad voice. "It wasn't your fault. And there was nothing you could have done. They forced themselves into this situation. She did a good job for many years. But at one point she changed to a bad person. And this was something your father couldn't allow anymore." Frigga said finally.
