It was the next morning. Loki and me walking down to the kitchen where the others are already waiting for us. "There they are. Our two lovebirds." Nat giggled and padded the seats next to her. "Take a seat. And your lover too. We want to talk to you both." She smiled as I sit down between her and Loki. Loki placed his hand on my leg and softly stroked it as he began to talk, "what do you want Natasha?" Loki asked suspiciously. "We want to give Spirit a chance. We want to know her and someday trust her. So she will get trained by Nat, and maybe the next mission includes her then." Stark replied. Taking a sip from his coffee and smiling. Proud of himself for his great idea.
"I saved your life and after that, you still do not trust me" I laughed "I like these midgardians," I said sarcastically. "Always thinking badly about someone they are afraid of. No worries. I don't want to steal your boss position. But if it helps you I'm going to train with Nat." Stark nearly choked his coffee. I could feel how bad he felt after my speech but it was something that must have been saying. I do think he needs the little dispute. The others, especially Cap, are kinda annoyed by the fact he always places himself in the boss position. And I'm annoyed too. Not only by the fact that someone tries to tell me what to do. More about the fact that he thinks that I'm too bad for the team, for the missions. I always hated it when I was held back.
Nat smiled taking a bite of her bread. "We are going to have a great time. I make you ready for your first fight." She hissed proudly. Loki looked at me, searching for facial expressions or something else so he could know how I was thinking about all this. He doesn't want to leave my side, we were too long apart from each other. But he knew that the other will only fully trust me if Cap and Stark approve it. And that would be a tuff one. I looked towards Loki searching for his hand as he noticed and cupped my hand with his. "I guess I have no other option, but I can not train 24/7. I need time to do some important research with Loki." I said determining.
"What research you have to do? And don't tell me that you need more time to explore your bodies in bed. You have enough time for it in the evenings." Cap declared annoyed. "When we want to fuck, then we will do it every time and everywhere we want to." Loki hissed with a mischievous smile "she meant real research. But that is none of your business" Thor looked angry and irritated at Loki. "What my brother wanted to say was that he only respects the fact she doesn't want to talk about something so personal. I know about it and you guys have to trust me, it is nothing bad that will happen to you." Thor said calmly. "We will accept that... But it would be helpful for us to know something personal about you, Spirit." Stark explained as he walked nervously around the kitchen.
Everyone looked at me waiting for my reply. Searching for a sign of a reaction, but I was sitting there. Holding Loki's hand now tighter than before. I tried to measure out what I should do next. Should I expose what I did in my past? It would probably be a hard story to tell. I mean, I am not proud of everything I did years ago. Who would be proud of something like that? But otherwise maybe then they will understand how I ended up being this mess. But how should I explain this? It was hard enough for me to tell everything to Thor. And now I should tell this to a bunch of people who don't trust me. I guess I have no other choice.
