The first week went by pretty quickly and it was great. That changed Friday night though. I woke up in the middle of the night to get some water, when I heard a weird noise.
It was coming from Ninis room, it sounds like she is scared of something. I jumped out of my bed and ran into her room. She was sitting in her bed looking like she is scared to death. I sat down on her bed "What happened?" Nini didn't answer and she was still really scared. So I ran down the stairs and grabbed her a glass of water. After I came back and gave her the glass I sat down on her bed again.
„I'm right here if you want to talk." She drank a bit and then answered. "I had a nightmare about the accident." I hugged her "Your safe with us, don't worry." She nodded, but I don't think that helped. "Try to sleep, I'll stay her until you do." She shook her head "You need to sleep too." I smiled "I don't wanna leave you alone, what if you have a nightmare again." Suddenly I had an idea. I ran out the door and came back with my pillow and blanket. Nini looked confused "I'll sleep in your room if that's ok." She nodded "Thank you."
I could see that she really appreciated it. I smiled and laid down. "Good night" I looked at her while she fell asleep. I'm glad I at least did something to make her feel better. The next morning we were woken up by mom coming into the room. When she saw me she was surprised but I don't think she was mad "Explain, please."
Nini looked at me with a face that said "Help me!" I had to think for a second. "It was Friday so we decided to have a sleepover." My mom smiled "Sounds fun, now get dressed. We are ready to eat." Mom left and Nini looked relived. "What was that?" I stood up. "I don't want your parents to know, not yet." I Hugged Nini "They are your parents too." The brunette smiled after I said that and nodded "I know, I still have to get used to it." I picked up my stuff and went into my room to get dressed and then went downstairs to eat breakfast.
Nini came right after me and we enjoyed our first breakfast as a family. The rest of the day we spend together and it was amazing. But I did notice that Nini was acting weird when we didn't look at her.
The next day
Nini pov:
Ricky told me that today were the auditions and well I didn't tell him that I will audition too. After school the whole group went to the theatre and we all sat down on the stage. "Now lets get to the Gabriella's. First of we have Nini." I stood up to see rickys surprised faced, but quickly after he smiled.

It was great to see that he will support me, no matter what. After the acting part I was supposed to sing part of the start of something new, I think I did well. So I sat down with a smile on my face, which was returned by Kourtney and Gina. After the auditions Ricky walked up to me and hugged me "I did not know my Sister could sing that well." I started laughing "It's just a thing I do on the side." The rest of the group joined and someone else I didn't know yet. "Nini that is EJ, the last member of our group." We shock hands "Nice to meet you."
I looked at him for a bit until Carlos came out of Miss Jenns office with the cast list. I stood there with my mouth wide open. "Congrats on getting the lead" Ricky said. I hugged him "And for you on getting chad, by the way can you play basketball?" He nodded "I used to play in the school team, but I quit because I liked theatre more."
I looked at him in disbelieve "I didn't know my brother is good at sports." He smiled "Its just a thing I did on the side." We started laughing and I saw EJ looking at me. When he saw that I noticed he looked away.
Kourtney pov:
I saw how Nini looked at EJ. "The two most popular boys in their grade" I said to her while we walked out of the school together. She looked confused and I felt like I had to clarify. "Ricky is your brother and I see the way you look at EJ." She started laughing "I have more important things to worry about. A boyfriend is not my top priority."
I smiled "Well said, boys are a waste of time." We spent the rest of the way to her house ranting about boys. When we got to her house I hugged her "See you tomorrow." And I kept walking home.
The drama is starting, I'm trying to make the chapters as long as I can but I also don't want to drag them out more then necessary. Anyways hope y'all enjoy this chapter
