A new Family ~ 01

Nini pov:

I was ready for this, well i at least hoped so. Today is the day i'm finally going to be adopted.
I've wanted this ever sonce my moms died, but i was still nervous about what lies ahead.

A car drove up the driveway and a women came out, she walked over to me and shock my hand. "My name is Lynne and you must be Nini." I nodded and Lynne helped me get my bags into her car.

I sat down on the passenger seat. Before i could close the door my head said i should just jump out, but i took a deep breath and closed the door. My head kept telling me to get out, it felt so weird. "We'll have to drive for a few hours, My family lives in Salt Lake city." I nodded and started looking out the window to try and calm myself a bit.

That didn't exactly work though, but it did help a bit. About 30 minutes before we arrived Lynne started telling me about her family "I have a Husband called Mike, he is already excited to meet you. I also have a soon called Ricky, he is actually your age. You two will get along great." I smiled, having a boy in my age feels nice. I wonder how is he's like though and if he will accept me.

When we got to the house Mike and Ricky were already waiting for us. "Hi" I smiled at the boy and he smiled too. "Nice to meet you, I'm Ricky." I shock his hand "I'm Nini." Ricky helped me get all my bags inside and showed me my room. "If you need anything my room is right next to yours." I smiled and nodded.

That was enough for my now brother, i won't get used to calling him that for a while, to leave. As soon as he did i started unpacking. The first thing i did was open the boxes of stuff I haven't seen in a few weeks. 

They were mostly off season clothes, but there was one box i really wanted to see. My eyes fell on one and i decided to open it. Inside i found all my familys picture albums, just what i was looking for. I missed my moms so much, so i decided to  look through all my pictures instead of unpacking.

A few hours later Ricky knocked on my door and came in. "Dinner is ready." When he noticed that I haven't unpacked yet and saw that I was crying he walked over to me and gave me a big hug.  "are you ok?" I shock my head and he hugged me again.

„We are siblings now, you can trust me. But i also understand if you don't want to tell me yet." I smiled "Before the accident I never spend more than 2 days without my moms. It's just weird knowing that I will never see them again. Also I'm scared of starting school, what if I don't find any friends?" He looked at me "Nini don't worry, all my friends are really nice and they will love you as well. I know it must be hard for you but we are here for you."

I hugged him "Thank you." After that i felt ready to start a new life and that starts with eating Dinner with my new family. Dinner was nice, it still felt weird but hopefully ill get used to that. I got ready to go to bed and got into bed.

I was laying there looking at the ceiling thinking of everything that had happened in the last 2 months. I knew i would never be the same Person i used to be, but maybe i can still be happy again. Because Right now i have hope for a new life, a great life right her in Salt Lake City.

Guys I'm so excited for y'all to read this fanfic. I have lots of ideas and time Right now so I might update again soon. Anyways hope y'all like chapter one
