Ricky pov:

"Nini what are you talking about?" She shrug her shoulders "I was just thinking that my parents talked about calling some old friends they lost contact with in case something happens right before they died. Maybe they knew my uncle is crazy so they knew that he would try to kill all of us."

I was shocked, but it did make sense. "Are you sure they actually talked about that?" I asked her. Nini nodded her head "They even said something about having an important talk with me after the trial. I can only guess that it was about him, but I have no idea what it was about." There was a moment of silence when suddenly she gasped. "Neens, what's wrong?"

I looked into her eyes and they were filled with fear. "I-" was all she got out. "Its ok, take your time." She started talking again "I know-" but she was cut off by our parents walking into the room.

Mom came towards us and just looked worried. "He told you?" She asked Nini, who just nodded her head. "We're sorry for keeping that from you two, especially Nini. We just didn't want to overwhelm you." She nodded her head in understanding. "Its ok, I get it." That cause mom to isgh in relieve "There is more you don't know, should we tell you now or later and do you want Ricky to know?" I looked at her silently asking her if I should leave, but she shook her head. "I want You to tell me and Ricky now."

Mom nodded her head and sat down on the bed opposite of us. "We met your Momma D in high school. Her Brother, your uncle was in the same classes as us, since they were twins. Junior year of highschool Dana started dating Carol and well your uncle didn't take it very well. He had always liked Carol, but now she was dating his sister. He was also against the relationship because it was between two women."

She stopped to look at dad asking him to continue. He sat down next to her and took a deep breath.

"Dana's parents accepted it. They even supported their relationship. Both really liked Carol. It was all not a problem until senior year. They went to prom together and somehow, no one knows how, your uncle and Carol ended up being the only owns who weren't drunk, so they had to drive everyone home. Nothing happened that day, except that your uncle figured out where she lived."

Dad looked at Nini with sadness in his eyes. "What else happened?" Nini asked with fear prominent in her voice. She was slightly shaking so I pulled her into my side. "It'll be ok Neens" I whispered into her ear. Mom continued talking a few minutes later.

"After graduating we all wanted to go on a trip, we were going to travel through Europe for a month. Mike and I still went, but Carol got really sick right after graduation, like two weeks after so they stayed in Salt Lake City. None of us where worried until I found her breaking down in her house one night, when she thought no one was there."

She was now crying, and dad had to comfort her.

"That day we found out that she was raped. Her Girlfriends brother raped her. Nini your uncle is actually your father."

Instead of saying anything Nini just sat there in silence. "We're sorry for not telling you earlier, we just didn't think you were ready to handle the truth." Seconds later Nini broke down crying. I pulled her into my arms and rubbed her back to calm her. "They knew he was capable of this and still let me see him for years?" It was more of a question than a statement. I just continued rubbing her back.

When I looked at mom and dad, I could see the confusion in their eyes. "Neens, they don't know what happened" I softly said to her. She just hid her head in my chest, like she was trying to vanish. "Is it ok if I tell them?" She nodded her head against my chest. I looked up at my parents to see worry in their eyes. "What did he do to her?" Dad asked me.

I looked down at her "The same thing he did to her mom. My mom gasped and started crying again, while my dad looked angry. All of the sudden he left the room and came back a few minutes later with a box in his hands.

"Your moms called us a few days before they died and asked if we still had the box, they gave us when they moved away. We did. We also got this the day they died. They must have sent it before it happened. It says we should give it to you when we find out the truth. I think now is the time."

I don't want to give Nini's Father a bang since what he did was unacceptable and I don't think he deserves one. Anyways what do y'all think is written in the letter?
