"What is Alec's meeting about this time?" Prim asks as she tries to eat a prawn with a chopstick, I laugh at her attempts and shake my head.

"Something about the new company he's working with." I answer.

"Let's talk about your life." She says looking at me intently, I narrow my eyes at her and put my glass back on the table.

"What about it?"

"Your first time in college, actual college, what was your degree going to be?"

"Creative Writing."

"Oh yeah, you did the same as Calum." She mutters, "What was your sisters degree in?"

"Don't laugh but, hers was Fashion and Design."

"So you now have a career in Fashion and Design and your sister is doing... what?" She asks.

"I don't know Prim, I haven't spoke to her in years remember."

"We need to find that out." She says getting her phone out and texting someone.

"Who are you texting?"

"Just some guy I hired a couple of months ago to track my ex, I thought he was cheating on me so I got someone to check it out for me. Funny, he was cheating, with my neighbour." She says with a frown before putting her phone back on the table.

"Listen Prim, you are my best, best friend and I love you to bits but I don't want to know what my sister is doing."

"Wow, heartless much?"

"It's not that-." I say before I was interrupted by her phone ringing.

"She's unemployed." Prim says reading the text.

"How did he find her that fast?"

"I text him earlier in the car to research her."

"Okay, so what else?" I ask eating a prawn.

She smirks and looks at me, "I thought you didn't care."

"Shut up Primrose Shaw and tell me." I hiss, she laughs and lifts her phone again to read it.

"Alana Page, 23 years old, engaged to Ashton Irwin." She smiles, "Used to work for Kirkhall Fashion Industries but quit because she didn't think she was going anywhere. She was last seen entering..."

"Entering what?" I ask looking at her, Prim swallows and looks at me with a small smile.

"Her house."

"You're lying."

"I'm not!" She says, I lean over to see her phone but she pulls it away from me.

"Oh look! It's 2pm, time to pick up Hadley." She says standing up to pay the bill, I glare at her as she rushes to pay before putting on my jacket and getting my phone out to ring Alec.

"Hey." His Irish voice rings through my phone, the smile immediately creeping onto my face.

"Hey."

"Are you picking up Had?"

"Yeah, me and Prim are on our way now, she's just paying."

"I'm sorry I couldn't pick her up babe, emergency meeting."

"It's fine."

"I know today is busy because you're looking for a new assistant designer."

"It's fine Alec, I don't have any interviews until 3."

"Okay, I'm sorry again. I gotta go now, the meetings about to start."

"I love you."

"I love you too." He says, I smile and put the phone down as I wait for Prim to finally come out.

"All paid, now it's time to see my favourite goddaughter." Prim says running next to me as the driver opens the door.

"Your only goddaughter." I laugh.

"That we know of."

"Prim." I laugh shaking my head, she shrugs her shoulders and relaxes into the seat.

"We have a long day today Emmi James."

"It's 2 in the afternoon, most people say that line at 9am, when work starts." I laugh.

"Yeah but we mostly spoke all morning, so the real work starts this afternoon as we look for a new assistant designer."

"It's only temporary, just till Rachel comes back from maternity leave."

"I have a feeling we're going to be in for a surprise." She says, I look at her from the corner of my eye and frown.

She knows something I don't.
