0.9 Not a Date

"Wait, you're going on a date with Luke?" Aurora asks as I put another dress in front of my body.

"It's. Not. A. Date." I repeat.

"Why are you defensive?"

"Because I'm just joining him so he doesn't feel like a third fucking wheel."

"I think you should wear the third dress." She smiles.

"Is it dressy enough?"

"Where are you going?"

"Out to eat." I tell her.

"Well, since we're students I wouldn't say you are going somewhere really fancy." She says.

"True. Fine I'm just going to wear this."

"You look nice."

"Light make-up or heavy?"

"Light."

"Okay, thanks. Alana should be back by now. I mean, I know she ran into a wall and cut her head but 6 hours in the Nurses office really? She didn't need stitches or anything." I say as I apply my powder.

"I'll call her." Aurora says getting her phone out.

"Okay." I smile grabbing my mascara.

"Hi Alana...Where are you?...Oh! Okay see you later...bye." Aurora says.

"Where is she?"

"Her and Ashton went out to get something to eat."

"Oooh." I laugh.

"Both of the twins got dates." She says. I grab a pillow and go to throw it at her but she runs out before I can.

"NOT A DATE!" I shout after her.

"Yeah, yeah." She shouts back. I sigh and look at myself in the mirror.

"You look fine." Someone says. I turn around and smile.

"You're early."

"It's 6:49, I'm sorry but I simply couldn't wait." Luke smirks. I walk over and fix his jacket for him.

"Nice outfit." I observe.

"Is this okay? Do you approve?"

"I do approve."

"So it's suitable." He says raising his eye brows, I roll my eyes and nod my head.

"It's suitable."

"Told you I know how to dress for a date." He smirks.

"This isn't a date."

"Sorry, it's a friend helping out another friend so he isn't third wheeling." He smiles.

"Exactly." I say grabbing my phone.

"No jacket?"

"I don't have one that matches."

"Don't complain to me when it's cold." He says as we walk out of my room.

"We both know that that is going to happen." I smirk knowingly.

He sighs, "See you later Sleeping Beauty."

"Have fun you two." Aurora smiles.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay on your own?" I ask her.

"Yeah I'm just gonna play games or watch crappy films on Netflix."

"Michael is on his own downstairs if you want him to keep you company." Luke tells her.
