"Knock knock." Someone says knocking twice, I roll my eyes and stand away from the door to let him in.
"I should have known it was you. You're like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory except you knock twice and say knock knock." I say as Luke shuffles into the room with a bowl of pasta.
"At least you know its me."
"What if someone pretends to be you by knocking twice?"
"How could they pretend to be me if they don't know my secret knock?"
"You could get tortured!"
"OH NO!" He shouts, I laugh and sit back down against my door.
"You okay? One minute you were being your normal sarcastic self then all of a sudden you took a shot and ran out." He asks walking over and sitting next to me.
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Most girls say they're fine but are actually lying about it. So tell me." He says eating a bit of pasta. I look at him and shake my head.
"You really want to know?"
"Shoot."
"Just trying to get used to this place."
"By taking shots and going out at strange times?"
"Isn't that what college is all about?" I smile. He laughs.
"Touche. But you should maybe get used to it the way your sister does."
"By reading all the brochures and knowing every place here?" I ask.
"No. Just get used to your timetable and your apartment before you go out and get drunk and lost." Luke smiles.
"Why are you so nice?" I ask taking the bowl of pasta off of him.
"My mother raised me well."
"She sure did Luke, she sure did." I tell him eating the spaghetti.
"Alana definitely made this." I say.
"How could you tell? I mean it's not like you watched her."
"I didn't. I was watching TV while Aurora helped."
"Okay then genius, how could you tell Aurora made this?" Luke asks.
"Call it a twin thing." I answer while a smug smile on my face.

"Hello." Calum says walking into the apartment the next morning.
"Whoa! How did you get in?" I ask as I eat my bowl of cereal.
"Alana gave me a key?"
"ALANA!" I scream.
"What? What's wrong?!" She shouts running out of the bathroom.
"You gave Calum a key?"
"I gave them all a key."
"Okay Alana we need to have a nice long talk about privacy and trust. Apartment? Private. Trust? Don't just give keys to anyone."
"That wasn't very long." Calum says.
"Neither are you so shut up." I snap putting my bowl in the sink. Calum snorts from behind me.
"You haven't seen it." He says crossing his arms.
"And I never will. AURORA?! ARE YOU READY?!"
"Yeah! I'm here. We get our marks today." She smiles as we walk out the apartment building.
"I doubt he's marked them over night." I say.
"I think he will have done. Mr Holton looks prepared." Calum says.
"We'll see." I laugh looking around as students yet again ran to their classrooms.
"Wait. Is that Luke?" I ask Calum.
"Yeah. He does Football."
"You can do football as a subject?" Aurora asks.
"Scholarship." Calum tells him.
"You look more of a footballer." I tell him.
"I got offered a scholarship for football but I prefer to write." Calum says.
"Aww." Aurora coos.

"Zoe? Can I see you please?" Mr Holton asks after class. Aurora and Calum look at me but I signal for them to go.
"Yeah sir?" I ask walking closer to the desk.
"Your homework, the creative writing piece."
"Was it too long?" I ask looking at the floor.
"No, it was fine. Length wise. I read it and Zoe it was really good."
"It was?"
"I nearly cried."
"Nearly cried?"
"I don't cry and I definitely don't nearly cry but there was so much emotion in it Zoe."
"Oh right." I smile looking at my feet.
"You have a gift for writing. What do you want to do when you're older?"
"Write."
"Journalism or book writing?"
"Book writing."
"Author? Wow. I could see it." He smiles handing me my homework.
"I don't normally give A's on the first homework but it didn't deserve anything less." He smiles.
"Oh! Wow, thank you." I smile looking at it.
"See you next lesson Zoe."
"See you next lesson Mr Holton."
"Tom."
"Okay." I laugh awkwardly running out of the room and into someone.
"Careful." He laughs.
"Oh, hi Luke." I smile.
"You walking back?"
"Yeah."
"Let's walk then neighbour." He smiles. "What's the paper?"
"My homework."
"What did you get?"
"I got an A."
"On your first homework?" He asks shocked.
"Yeah, weird huh?"
"I don't know, you have a way with words." He smirks.
"You have a scholarship."
"Yeah, football."
"Kicking a ball around for 90 minutes, attractive." I say sarcastically.
"I know that was meant to be sarcastic but all I heard was attractive so thanks." He smirks.
"I didn't put you down as a footballer."
"Why?"
"You have a quiff."
"So?" He asks.
"Footballers don't have good hair really."
"Are you calling my hair good?" He asks. I look at him and ruffle his hair before running away.
"Not anymore!" I shout.
"NO!" He shouts running after me as I laugh.
