3 years later...
"Hadley don't do that!" I shout handing Luke the cake and walking out to the garden, Hadley completely ignores me and sits on the swing I told her was broken. Immediately she falls to the floor and screams,
"I told you not to," I laugh helping her up off of the floor, she simply smiles and looks at my bump.
"Is that where I began too?" She asks,
"Yes it is."
"How did I get in there?"
"Who wants cake?!" I shout before walking back towards the house.
"ME!" Hadley screams shooting past me and attacking Luke into a hug.
"Whoa! Careful, here you go," He laughs handing her a slice, she smiles,
"Thank you dad," She says before skipping off into the living room. Luke looks at me and smiles,
"Every time she calls me dad, my heart flutters."
"Mine too."
"Do you want some cake?" He asks,
"No, the smell is making my stomach turn," I answer scrunching my nose.
"Sorry, but it's my birthday and on birthday's you have cake," Luke laughs taking a bite.
"I will forgive you."
"Thank you."
"Mummy! Aunt Alana and everyone is here!" Hadley shouts, I walk towards the door and open it up as everyone steps in.
Alana, Ashton and Lily [their 2 year old daughter].
Calum and Aurora and their new baby Violet.
Michael and his wife Sydney.
"Soon," Aurora and Alana say referring to my belly as we stood in the kitchen.
"3 weeks."
"Nervous?" Sydney asks.
"No I've done it once before, I know the pain," I answer laughing.
"I can't believe you and Luke are having a baby, after pretending you didn't like each other," Alana says, I look at him in the living room and smiles,
"Me neither but I'm glad we admitted it."
"Me too, it was annoying," Aurora says making us all laugh.
When I catch Luke's eye I mouth that I love him.
"I love you too," He mouths back with a large smile on his face.
