I woke up the next morning with a small headache and a sickness feeling in my stomach.

"How was your date?" Alana says with a smirk as I walk into the kitchen.

"It wasn't a date, how's your head?"

"My head's fine."

"How was your date with Ashton?" I ask.

"We went out to get food so I could get energy, that's all." Alana says.

"Unfortunately." Aurora giggles, I laugh loudly and look at Alana as she turns a bright shade of red.

"Knock knock." Someone says knocking on the door, Luke.

"Not again." I mutter walking over and opening the door.

"Hemmings." I smile.

"Page."

"My name's Zoe you dick."

"That's your last name."

"Sarcasm is not your forte." I laugh.

"Whatever." He laughs, "I knocked because the boys and I have been talking and we want you guys to come to our house for dinner tonight."

"I don't feel like raw pizza." I tell him, he laughs sarcastically.

"No. We're ordering Chinese."

"I like Chinese! I'll come!" Aurora shouts.

"Great! Sleeping Beauty is in, how about the twins?" He asks.

"I'm in." Alana says.

"I would but I have a prior engagement." I tell him, he frowns but nods.

"You guys come down at 7 okay?"

"I'll see if I can make it afterwards." I tell Luke.

"Okay." He smiles before walking away.

"Where are you going?" Alana asks.

"Just out."

"Where?"

"Somewhere." I answer walking towards my room.

"Have you got a date with one night stand guy?" Aurora asks, I burst out laughing and cover my mouth.

"No!" I giggle.

"I don't understand what's so funny but okay." Aurora shrugs.

"I've missed the joke." Alana says.

"You wouldn't understand." I smile walking into my room.

"Be back soon, I'll probably see you at the boys." I say grabbing my jacket later that day.

"Have fun, doing whatever you're doing." Alana says looking through a magazine for some inspiration.

"Bye!" Aurora sings as she watches TV.

"Bye." I laugh walking out of the apartment and shutting the door behind me.

10 minutes later I stood outside their door, I hesitantly knocked on the door before walking in after I was told.

"Hi, Zoe Page?" The woman asks.

"Yeah, hi." I smile.

"Hi, my name's Lynn."

"Hi Lynn."

"So you got referred here for suspected anxiety?" She asks.

"Yeah I think so."

"Can you describe the feeling?" She asks getting a pen out so she could write some of the things I say.

"Yeah it's like a tightening of the chest, or like someone's sitting on my chest and sometimes I lose feeling in my legs and feet. Oh! And my hands shake, really bad. Sometimes if I'm writing I have to stop otherwise they're just squiggles."

"When does this usually happen?"

"I have good days and bad days, sometimes it just springs on me at random moments."

"An example?"

"Erm, my neighbours had just came round to eat with us and I just looked around and felt panic, so I took a shot of vodka, ran out and went to the Nurses office." I laugh trying to lighten the mood. Lynn nods and writes a few things down.

"I'm going to give you a few breathing techniques." She tells me.

"Oh, okay."

"Like a square. Hold for four, draw a line. Exhale for four, draw another line. Hold for four, draw a line. Exhale for four, draw the last line." She tells me.

"Okay."

"You try that and set up an appointment so you can tell me how it went and if it worked." She says.

"I will."

"Zoe, I mean it. Try it and come back. If it doesn't work then we'll have to try something else." She tells me with a serious expression before I walk out the door.

"Why do you look worried?"

"I just don't want it to get too far."

"Too far?"

"Some people feel this and then get scared to leave their house, it's hard to overcome when that happens." She tells me.

"Overcome what?"

"Anxiety Zoe, anxiety."

"I don't have anxiety." I say sitting down and looking at her.

"You're showing some signs."

"But what am I anxious about?!" I shout.

"Only you know the answer to that."

"But I don't!"

"It just takes a while for some people to find the answer, you'll find it and as soon as you do I'll help and we'll sort it." She smiles.

"I don't need your help." I snap standing up.

"Don't push me away Zoe."

"Leave me alone, I'm fine!"

"You're not fine Zoe!

"I am fine!" I scream pulling open the door and running out of the office. I wrap my coat around me and storm through the people as they got drunk with their friends on a Sunday night. Probably a bad idea considering most of them probably have lessons.

When I got into the apartment hallway, I put my back against the door and took a moment to breathe. What did she mean I'm not fine? I am fine. I'm perfectly fine.

Looking around I notice something sticking out of our apartments letterbox so I run over and take out the fancy looking envelope.

You are cordially invited to the wedding of...

Lily-Ann Kale and Edward Ford

I stare at the invite and frown.

Time to get drunk and listen to music that I can scream the lyrics to.
