Twenty Six

With Gryffindor VS Slytherin being the first Quidditch match since our Third year, everyone was rather excited.

Theo being the only boy in our year not on the Quidditch Team and I not being very liked by the rest of the girls, meant that we were practically attached at the hip.

DA meetings had been put on hold for a bit until we got the match out of the way as everyone was too preoccupied.

If Theo and I had nothing better to do, we would sit in the stands, watching the Slytherin practise, or wonder about in the snow together if we got bored, which was pretty common.

I was a lot more happier now that we had the DA though, as It was a chance to get out my built up frustration, but I was also actually learning, and it gave me something to think about whilst reading in Defence Against the Dark Arts.

It was thrilling as well, keeping a secret from my whole house, even my friends, and sneaking around.

"Ron, you alright?" I asked him at Breakfast, on the day of the match.

"Yep, I'm fine, just regretting all my decisions that led me to here" he said gloomily.

"Ron, come on, you'll do great" I said, I picked up one of the paper red and gold flowers, putting it in my hair.

"I must've been mental to do this" He said in a croak "Mental."

"Don't be thick" Harry said, making Ron a bowl of cereal and passing it to him. "You're going to be fine. It's normal to be nervous" Harry tried to reassure him as I patted his back because he looked like he was about to throw up.

"I'm rubbish" Ron grumbled "I'm lousy. I can't play to save my life. What was I thinking?"

"Get a grip" Harry said sternly. "Look at that save you made with your foot the other day, even Fred and George said it was brilliant."

"Really? If even Fred and George thought so then it must've been impressive!" I said.

"Yeah, you should've seen it Keira!" Harry beamed.

But Ron shook his head like he was in pain.

"That was an accident" He whispered miserably to us, "I didn't mean to do it- I slipped off my broom when none of you were looking and when I was trying to get back on I kicked the Quaffle by accident"

"Hey, that's okay, happy accidents, that's why you're here" I said

"So are you" He said pointedly

"Not the point" I muttered.

"Well then, what is the point is that a few more accidents like that and the games in the bag, isn't it?" Harry said.

Hermione and Ginny then sat opposite us, both dressed in Red and Gold scarves, gloves and rosettes.

"How are you feeling?" Ginny asked Ron, he looked like he was contemplating drowning himself into his cereal milk, I took the bowl away and placed it away on the table where he couldn't see it.

"He's just nervous" Harry said.

"Well, that's a good sign, I never feel you perform as well in exams if you're not a bit nervous" Hermione said, softly.

"Hello" A voice said from behind the two girls.

I looked up to see that it was Luna, many were pointing and laughing at her.

Luna was wearing a life-sized lions head shaped hat on her head.

"Luna, you look amazing" I said sincerely, people might think it's weird but I actually think it's really cool, show's shes passionate and it's not even her house.
