"Explain to me why classes start so early again" I yawned, on the walk to the Great Hall for breakfast.
"They don't" Blaise said "You just have no concept of time and are lazy"
"Am not!" I glared at him.
"She's not used to waking up early, because we spent the whole summer in bed sleeping" Theo said, equally as tired "And it's messed with my body's clock too" He shot a glare at me.
"Don't blame me, you could of got up, I wasn't stopping you" I said
"Oh really, how about that one time whe-"
"Look at the glorious breakfast, yum yum, so delicious!" I said, speeding off to the Slytherin table apon entering the Great Hall.
"No, no, do go on Nott, I want to hear this" Blaise said, smirking when they also sat down.
"Oh, look, there's Harry, Ron and Hermione, see you all later" I said quickly before leaving the table to join Gryffindors.
"What's wrong with you?" Ron asked me when I sat down next to Hermione.
"Nothing, hey, are you guys doing Care of Magical Creatures for N.E.W.T.s, who am I kidding, of course you are" I said
"Uh... well actually" Hermione started, nervously.
"No... we're not" Harry said, shyly, all three of them looked up nervously at Hagrid.
"Wait, seriously? But I thought you all really enjoyed that class" I said.
"Are you actually doing it, then?" Ron asked me.
"Yes, obviously, Mum did buy my books, I'm sure I told you I was" I said, digging into Hermione's plate.
"Truthfully, we liked Hagrid, not the subject, we only showed interest because he's our friend" Hermione said.
"Oi, are any of you lot doing Care of Magical Creatures?" I asked the rest of the Gryffindors
"Eurgh, of course not" Lavender Brown said in disgust, the rest shook their heads in disagreement as well.
"Who in their right mind would want to, we're N.E.W.T.s students now, there's no point wasting time on stupid classes" Parvati said.
"Yeah, yeah, exactly what I thought" I said, standing from the bench.
"Wait, where are you going?" Ron asked.
"Oh, I left my stuff back at my table, got to get it before classes start" I said before making my way back to the table.
"What's wrong with you?" Theo asked, throwing a comforting arm around my shoulders when I sat down next to him and Draco, who sulked at his bowl of porridge.
"Turns out, that no one's doing Care of Magical Creatures, no one but me of course" I said "Maybe I should drop it, before classes begin" I said.
"What, you can't do that" Theo said.
"Yeah, you can't drop something just because no one else is doing it, see it as an advantage if you really are all by yourself, which you probably aren't, you will get all the attention and will be allowed individual learning" Blaise said.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked Draco, who had yet to even say a word.
He simply glanced over at me with a cold look in his eyes, looked me up and down and turned back to his porridge.
"Okay...then" I said "I guess you're right, Blaise, I should start looking at things more positively, let it be a new challenge for me" I said.
"Oh, no, we didn't say to do that" Theo said quickly "No need to act like a Hufflepuff in the summer"
