The world silenced around Theodore on the second of May.

He fled out of the Great Hall avoiding the shouts and cries of his two friends and the family of his family.

He couldn't bare another second, the guilt eating up at him until he felt as though he was suffocating, maybe he was? The countless times he had to manually exhale as he kept forgetting to breathe.

He didn't want to be there when her twin brother walked through the door, knowing that he would blame himself more.

He wanted to run back to her, hold her in his arms, but he couldn't handle one more second of the touch of her stone cold skin. Her skin's not cold, it's hot, like his own hot water bottle, always warming up the naturally cold boy, physically and mentally.

As soon as his fourteen year old self laid eyes on her, he knew she was going to change his miserable life.

Her sheer fierceness and enthusiasm for the people she loved and cared for, how he had yearned for himself to be added to her list.

Somehow, whenever she was around, it made the pain in his heart dull, and his spirit brighten, he always had good grades, sure, but for some reason, he felt the urge to impress her as much as he could, doing anything just to get a smile or even an laugh out of her, he'd sacrifice the world for an second look.

He became obsessed with her attention, he couldn't care less, he couldn't stop the mass amount of jealousy he felt when she talked to anyone but him, even his and her own friends, he didn't like when her lips raised when his friends made sarcastic remarks or silly jokes, that wasn't even remotely humorousness at all.

The only thing he could care about was her and what she thought about him.

He knew his father would never approve of her, his father as well as his best friends father always spoke down on the Weasleys, blood traitors, poor, dirty. But everything he believed dissapeared when he met her. She made him want to be an better person, she gave him a reason to live, an purpose in life. She represented everything good in the world, she was the opposite of what he was raised to be, she was everything he wanted.

"THEO!" An voice shouted, knocking him out of his thoughts. "THEO WAIT!"

Draco barged into the taller boy, not being able to stop when the brunet did.

"Where are you going?" The blond asked.

"I don't know" He answered, his voice hoarse. "I need to leave, I need to get away from here." His eyes moved all over the place, his breath was still quick. "I- I just- I can't be here Draco, it hurts, everything hurts, I-"

Draco brought him into an hug, holding the newly broken boy as the tears fell heavier once more.

"I know. I know, Theo." He muttered.

They both fell to their knees, weak and exhausted.

"I don't think I can do this anymore." Theo cried. "I can't do this without..."

"You have to." Draco told him. "You can't give up, she would've never let you give up, what about your daughter, you can't fail her, everything we're fighting for, is for her future."

Theodore didn't have the strength to say anything as Draco talked.

"That anger, that anger and pain you're feeling right now, put it to use, don't let it overwhelm you, turn it into strength and power, you have to, don't let her death be for nothing, she deserves that, she deserves her sacrifice to be for an good reason, don't waste it.

"I love her, Draco, more than I've ever felt for anyone, she was my soulmate, my other half, I can't go on without her."

"Yeah, well, you're going to have to, I'll be damned if you think I'm going to let you give up this easy after what she did, you're not giving up on your friends, you daughter, You can either leave and go back to her, or you can continue fighting and get your revenge, don't you dare think about taking the easy way out." Draco stood and turned towards the Great Hall. "You're not the only one who loved her, Nott, and you're definitely not the only one who lost her. Don't be a coward, Nott."
