I sighed as I looked around this empty void, to my right was my twin brother, Geno. We are the only family we have left after... I shake my head lightly, not wanting to think about it. 

"You doing alright bud? You look pretty pale for a skeleton." Geno said with a small chuckle. We both try to be somewhat positive but it's pretty hard when your entire world and family and friends were killed in front of you and erased leaving only you and your brother in an endless void.  

"Um yeah. Yeah I guess as good as I- well good as I can. What about- what about you?" I stuttered. I always have had trouble with my stutter and have always been shy, even with Geno, the person I trusted most. But after the genoci- the incident it got much much worse. I could see the pity in Geno's eye. 

"I know what you mean. I guess- Y/N RUN!" Geno cried out, I turned to see why he yelled that and saw none other than Error, the one who has been after us for years, strings out and ready to kill. I froze up, I couldn't do anything. 

"Aw don't ruin my surprise Abomination #368" Error said in his glitched voice, suddenly I was yanked by my arm. Geno was dragging me as he ran right past the terrifying killer, his eye locked on the portal Error left open. "Goddamn it you Abomination!" I heard Error yell, right as he said that I felt Geno's hand let go of mine, at that moment everything seemed to go in slow motion. 

I turned my head as I was being flung towards the portal, I could see Geno being dragged away by one of Error's strings. I could see tears forming in his eye but a small smile on his face, knowing he managed to get me away from this damn walking visa. Then everything went black. 

(Fell Sans's POV) 

I tsked as I trudged through the white snow that has some hints of red here and there. The Boss was being a complete douchebag again and yelling at me but I managed to get away this time. I walked until I finally got to my favorite spot in this entire dump of an underground. 

Granted the spot was still shit like everything else but the good thing was that no one else knew about it so it made things a bit more bearable. It was a cave hidden behind the rushing waterfall, I found some dumb dusty tutu in here but I left it because I was to lazy to move it. 

Just as I walked in, holding an umbrella over me so I didn't get soaked, something in this cave was off. Lets go over this checklist of what is normally in here. Dusty dumb tutu? Check. Gross mold? Check. Water dripping? Check. Hmm seems everything is normal eXCEPT FOR THE DAMN SKELETON LAYING ON THE GROUND PASSED THE FUCK OUT. 

I huffed as I looked at them. I never have  seen another skeleton here besides my bro- I mean boss, goddamnit I'm even correcting myself in my head. I poked the skeleton's face, wondering if he was about to die or something. Then his eyes opened. 

(Y/N's POV)

I felt something touch my face, I figured it must be Geno waking me up. I opened my eyes softly but instead of my calming brother's face right in front of me was the face of Geno except much more menacing, his eye was glowing red, he had lots of sharp teeth with a sharp gold one sticking out and a crack in his skull. 

I quickly backed away from him, dragging my body, too weak from fear to push myself up onto my feet. I had a better look of him now, he looked so much like Geno but... so unlike him at the same time, as if Geno was into a really edgy look or going through some emo phase I don't know. All I knew is that this wasn't my brother, and I was not in my void. 

Where was my brother? Where was I? Is my brother okay? What is- That's when I remembered, my mind flashed back to him being dragged from me by Error's strings. 

"I'm not that scary, you don't need to cry about it." The skeleton said, his voice raspy and rough. I could hear the tiredness in his voice. I didn't know what to say, what did he mean I don't need to cry? I'm not cryin- I then noticed the tears that were rolling down my face and onto the floor. 

"I uh um, I'm sorry I didn't um don't mean to uh-" I was cut off by his hand coming to my face as he gently and softly wiped a tear. I looked into his eyes, they were like a deep void, never ending and mysterious. 

"Why are you apologizing? You didn't do anything except fall asleep in my hiding place. Frankly I don't give a shit because I was going to do the same thing." His hand then fell down to his side, I sat up all the way, obviously confused. I looked around, the water rushing, the sparkling walls, this must be Waterfall... I then froze... I saw the dusty tutu that the human that killed everyone wore at one point. I quickly backed away as far as I could, pushing myself against the damp wall. 

"Hey hey hey. It's all right." He turned and looked at the tutu, somehow knowing that it scared me. He then stood up and went over to it and threw it into a portal. "Don't worry. It's gone now." I looked up to him as he walked over to me and kneeled down, holding his hand out. 

"My name is Sans. I haven't seen you around here before,  and I've been here a long time so that must mean you're new right?" His name... is Sans? That's what everyone used to call Geno... it's like I'm in some weird different universe or something. I know Geno told me about this thing called Alternate Universes or AU's for short. Is this one of those? 

I slowly held out my hand, taking his and shaking it softly, my own hand already shaking because of my fear. "I am uh am Y/N... where um where am I?" I asked.

"You must have hit your head pretty hard huh? Well we are in Waterfall right now. You're shaking though, are you cold?" Before I could even answer he started to take off his jacket and draped it over me. The jacket was heavier than I expected and it weighed my shoulders down a  bit. To be honest I was cold but that wasn't why I was shaking, although the fear started to settle down. The jacket smelled of mustard and felt rough yet soft at the same time. I looked up to him, looking in his eyes as he looked right back into mine. 

"Thank you... Thank you, Sans." I said in a more quiet voice then I intended. I could barely hear myself over the rushing water. He nodded and stood up, breaking eye contact. 

"I'm going to drop by Grillby's real quick to pick you up something to eat okay? Do you want burgers or fries? Nevermind I'll just get both." Before I could say anything he vanished before my eyes, teleporting away from me. 

I stood up and walked over to the water, it was only a couple steps though. I slowly reached my hand out, letting the water fall onto it. It was freezing, like it was ice only moments beforehand. Just like it was in my home... 

"Hey? Are you okay? What's wrong, why are you crying?" I heard Sans's voice say, dripping in worry and concern, he must have teleported back without me realizing. I just stayed there, letting the tears fall, I didn't care if he saw me cry like this. I just miss home so much... then I felt his arms wrap around me, holding me. 

"Don't worry. You don't got to talk about it, we can just sit here." He spoke softly and gently, in such an understanding tone. It only made my tears flow more, as if they were a waterfall. I turned and hugged him, latching onto him tightly, as if I let go I would never see him again. He hugged back onto me and one hand softly playing with my hair to comfort me. 

After a long while I was so tired from the crying and so emotionally drained I fell asleep in his arms.

(Geno's POV) 

I looked up at the colorful skeleton who introduced himself as Ink. 

"Don't worry about a thing Geno! I'll make sure we find your brother and bring him back home safe and sound!" I sighed, worried for Y/N but I know that I will find him again and make sure he is safe. I swear if someone touched him or even looked at him...
