"Come on, let's go to the amusement park Y/N!" I looked up at Dream and turned back around in my bed facing away from him. "We can get food and drinks and play games, it will be so much fun! But you have to get up and out of bed!" I covered my blanket over my head. "Tch tch tch, you can't just stay in your room all day! Let's go out and play!" Dream grabbed my blanket trying to yank it off of me.

"If I go to the park today will you let me be tomorrow?" He tapped his chin thinking about it. "Sure, it's a deal!" He put his hand out to shake on it. I rolled my eyes and shook his hand. "Fine, but if you break the promise, I break your hand." He laughed like I was joking. "Alright! Let's go!" He pulled me up to my feet dragging me over to my closet. Well his closet? My clothes were in there, well technically his. He bought them for me and he gave this room and closet to me but I don't think I should call them mine.

I don't even know why I'm here, I'm just a burden. Dream provides for me completely and I don't do anything, I don't help him at all, I'm useless, he only hangs out with me because he pities me, he must hate m- "Hey!" Dream suddenly grabbed me by the shoulders making me jump. "Calm down, I can tell you're getting upset about something. You can talk to me Y/N." I pushed him away from me, I know I make him weak because of my negativity, that's the whole reason Nightmare kidnapped me, to use me to enhance his powers.

That's when Dream saved me, my AU was destroyed so Dream kept me. He doesn't like me, he hates me. I know he does! If I'm around he gets weaker and if Nightmare tries to attack when I'm there Dream could die and it would be all my fault! Huh? Dream was holding me in his arms trying to comfort me. "D-dream?"

"Shhh. It's okay, we are going to have fun today at the amusement park, eat lots of sweets and I promise I will make it so you can smile again. Just like I promised, I won't leave you until I can see you smile." I didn't even notice until now but I was crying. I know all that he wants is for me to smile but sometimes it feels like I forgot.

"Here I'll help you pick out some clothes okay? Hmm how about this and... this!" He took out a pastel tie dye shirt and some white ripped leggings. "These are cute! You should wear these! It will make you even more adorable!" As he said that I could feel my face heat up from embarrassment. "D-Dream!" He laughed as he handed me the clothes. "Here go get changed, I'll wait for you in the living room."

"Which one?" He paused thinking. "The one that we normally hang out in." I walked into the bathroom to get changed into the clothes Dream picked out. I looked in the mirror at my corrupted body. I cringed in disgust. I quickly shook my head and looked away from the mirror and stepped out of the bathroom and started to head downstairs into the living room.

~DREAM'S POV~

"Okay, so in order to help Y/N get back to her normal self we just need to give her this potion, this is the only one in the world so you cannot lose it, okay Dream?" I nodded to Ink. I love Y/N and it hurts to see her son unhappy and in such despair because of the negativity that has made her corrupt. "Thank you so much Ink. You don't know how much this means to me, and to Y/N" He laughed a bit. "I just want you both to be happy Dream, and I don't think anyone deserves this potion more than her."

I hugged Ink tightly and then put the potion in my small bag. "I'm going to give it to her when we are on the ferris wheel. Up high where she can see all of the lights and the whole amusement park." Ink smiled at me happily. "Y/N is going to love it Dream!" "I'm going to love what?"

~Y/N POV~

"I'm going to love what?" Sometimes they can be so annoying, always talking about me when they think I'm not there."Uh, we were just saying that you are going to love the amusement park!" I rolled my eyes at him. "Whatever, let's just go and get this over with." Dream smiled at me, he is always so happy, it's kind of annoying but whatever, I just have to get through today and then Dream will let me be by myself tomorrow. "Come on Y/N! Let's go have fun!" Dream jumped up and grabbed my hand dragging me through a portal leading into the amusement park.

"Okay I was thinking we would go on the rides first then visit all of the food stands so we don't get sick on the rides. And after the food we can go to the haunted houses and the fun houses so we aren't so scared anymore, after that we will end the night with the ferris wheel to top everything off! How does that sound?"

"I think it sounds like you put too much thought into this." He laughed and scratched the back of his neck- uh, vertebrae? Whatever. "Of course I did! I want you to have a nice time Y/N." I could feel my face heat up a bit so I turned my face away."Whatever lets just do your stupid rides."

"Yay!" He took my hand and started to drag me all around the amusement park riding on all of the different rides. Not going to lie I didn't exactly hate the rides. It was also funny to see Dream get sick after the Storm. It's pretty much a Tilt-a-Whirl on steroids. It consistently spins you to one side, and very quickly. The G-force is pretty intense too.

We decided to do the haunted houses next instead of the food so Dream wouldn't throw up. It was kind of fun to get jumpscared in all of the haunted houses, it was also funny to hear Dream scream. Then we went to the fun houses and I didn't like them all that much but I did like the mirrors that made us look all weird. Then we went to all of the food stands and I fell in love with the candy apples, I had like four of them.

"Come on, let's go to the ferris wheel!" Dream yelled excitedly as he pulled me with him. Now that I think of it he has been holding my hand all day. We got onto the ferris wheel, by now it was night and all of the lights in the fair had been turned on so things looked kind of nice. "Hey Y/N, I have a present for you."

"Oh wow a present I feel so special." I say with every ounce of sarcasm that I could muster. He just chuckled a little bit and pulled out a bottle filled with a white liquid. "Ink and I were looking for something we can do to help restore you back to how you were, when you were happier. Don't get me wrong I love you how you are right now but I want you to be happy. This potion is the answer, you don't have to take it if you don't want to but if you want, it's right here for you. I was shocked, I had a lot of questions. He just loves me as a friend, he never said it before though. "I don't know what to say, is it going to hurt, what will happen?"

"We don't know everything about it, this is the only one in the world and no one knows how to make it, the only person who knows how to make it passed away not too long ago. You don't have to take it, but if you want to try it, it is right here, what do you say Y/N?"
