Classic!Sans x Determined!Reader

I step inside shivering and slam the door shut not wanting to let any of the cold air inside of the warm cozy atmosphere. I shaked my snowy boots off and took off my snowy hat, gloves, and jacket. "Hey kiddo, you look chilled to the bone." I laughed along with Sans at his pun. "Hiya Sans, it's really cold outside today! It feels like below zero!" We both laugh again as I sit next to him on the couch.

"Really though, are you okay? You're turning blue." Sans asked with concern in his voice. "Hey don't worry I'm way too determined to freeze!" I grabbed Sans's favorite ketchup brand out of the grocery bag. "Here you go, I picked it up for you while I was out." Okay maybe I got it because I have a bit of a crush on him but that doesn't need to be said.

"Heh kiddo, how could I ever mustard the courage to be as nice as you?" We both laughed as he started to down the ketchup. "I am going to take a shower so I'll be back soon." I started my way up the stairs and into our room. I have been sharing a room with Sans ever since Papyrus and Undyne came over to see my new room in the shed and Undyne accidently knocked the wall down with a spear...

I grabbed some of my clothes and took my shower.

Sans's POV

She walked up the stairs and into our room. That girl is so determined and absolutely beautiful. She said she is going to go see Asgore tomorrow morning. I'm not going to lie, I'm really worried about it. I don't want her to get hurt. I tried talking to her about it telling her she doesn't need to do it but she is just too damn stubborn. She says it's not stubbornness, it's just determination.

I sigh and drink the rest of my ketchup. I do like her, well like like her. I just don't think I would ever be able to tell her though. I stood up and teleported to Waterfall. I laid in the flowers and looked up at the 'stars' and made my own wish.

Y/N POV

I walked back down the stairs and saw that sans was gone and Papyrus walked in with Undyne. "Oh hello Human!" Undyne walked over to me and asked where Sans was. I told her I had no idea. "It's weird seeing you without him right next to you now."

"Heh, well we are best friends. I'm going to go hangout in Waterfall. I'll see you guys later!" I grabbed my boots and started to charge through the snow. "Make sure you are home in time for dinner! Undyne is helping me make spaghetti!" Papyrus yelled from inside the house. I laughed and eventually made it to Waterfall and sat in my favorite spot.

I laid down in the middle of the flowers and looked up at the 'stars'. "I wish that I can find a way to tell Y/N that I love her." Huh? That sounds like Sans? "I wish that I can find a way to tell Y/N that I love her." Is that the echo flowers? "I wish that I can find a way to tell Y/N that I love her." There is no doubt in my mind that isn't Sans.

He must mean someone else right? Nobody here has human names though! I am determined to find out who Sans likes! I got up and started to run back to our house. I was too lost into my thoughts when I ran into someone. "Oh jeez, I'm sorry I-" I was suddenly cut off by the familiar laughter of my best friend/crush. "Jeez kid, what happened that got you in such a hurry?"

"SANS! THERE YOU ARE!" He covered his 'ears'. "Easy on my ears Y/N." he said laughing. "Uh sorry Sans, I got too excited." A confused look took form on his face. "So are you going to tell me what's going on now?" I laughed a bit as I scratched my neck. What did I plan to do? Just walk up to him and say 'Hey do you love me?'?? I can't do that, I need a plan.

"Uh Y/N? Seriously are you okay? You seem out of it."

"Sorry I got lost in thought again heh. I have to go make a plan. I'll see you later!" I then ran off to our room ignoring Undyne and Papyrus. I sat at the desk and grabbed my notebook where I made all of my plans and got to work.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~There was a knock on the door as it opened. I turned to see Sans as I quickly shut my notebook. "Hiya Sans! Is dinner ready?" He looked at me seeming a bit sad yet he still wore that smile. "Hey kid, are you sure you are going to see Asgore tomorrow? You really don't have to do this." Oh this again. I know he is just worried but I want to free everyone. I will talk with Asgore and help him find a way to let everyone out, even if it means he takes my soul.

"Sans, I know I don't necessarily need to but I really want to help you guys. I want you all to be able to see the stars, to see the sky and enjoy life above the ground. If I can make that happen then I have to do it."

"I guess I can't really stop you. Welp let's try to eat the 'spaghetti' Pap's and Undyne made for you last night here." He still seemed really sad and I wish I knew how to make things better but when I get them all out of here I know he will be happier. "Alright. Sans, don't worry so much about me. I promise I will be okay." His smile seemed to be a bit more like a real smile after I said that so we both headed downstairs to try and eat the uneditable 'spaghetti'.

I have no idea where he is though. He is always sleeping right now but he wasn't anywhere in the house. I started to look for him around in Snowdin before I left but I couldn't find him anywhere. So I decided to go to our favorite spot in Waterfall.

"Sans? Are you here?"

"Huh? Oh hey Y/N. I thought you already left to go see Asgore?"

"I wanted to say bye until I get to see you again." He didn't respond. I walked over and sat down close next to him leaning my head on his shoulder. "He most likely will kill you... I've seen it happen again and again. I don't want it to happen to you." That is when I decided to tell him that I had the ability to reset, and that as long as I am determined I won't leave him.

"So that was you who was messing with time huh? Well that actually makes me feel a bit better heh." I smiled at him as he smiled back. "Uh Sans I wanted to talk to you about somethi-" Suddenly I was cut off by Sans kissing me. "S-SANS?!" I felt my face heat up immediately.

"Heheheh you're adorable when you're flustered!"
