I felt my legs pump up and down beneath me as my lungs burned for more air as I saw the bright colors of Dreams Castle blur as I ran. I looked behind me to see if Dream was still chasing me or if I managed to outrun him.

"Ah!" I yelled as I ran into something, I felt myself start to fall backwards but I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist. I looked up to see Dream laughing a small bit.

"Looks like I caught you!" Dream exclaimed as he giggled. I huffed angrily and stuck my tongue out at him before getting caught in a fit of giggles as I saw two boney fingers up behind Dreams skull, making it look like he had two bunny ears.

Dream tilted his head softly before letting me go and whipping around to see no other than Cross standing there with a raised his frontal bone at Dream. I fell onto the floor and sighed lightly.

"Oh uh I'm so sorry Y/N! Cross just startled me and I forgot!" I couldn't help but laugh a bit at Dreams forgetfulness and clumsiness. Cross walked over to me and held his hand out to help me up. I smiled softly and took his hand happily.

"Thanks Cross." I scratched the back of my neck nervously, a little embarrassed he saw me fall like that.

"No proble-" Cross was then cut off by a slightly annoyed Dream. I don't know why he seemed annoyed, maybe it was because of the bunny ears?

"What are you doing her Cross? How did you even get here?" Dream definitely sounded a bit annoyed but I don't know the reason why...

"Well I wanted to see Y/N. Not that any of this concerns you." Cross sighed and crossed his arms, I remember asking him if he was called Cross because he crosses his arms all the time. The answer was no sadly.

"But Y/N and I had plans to hang out today!" Dream said exasperated. Cross then walked up to Dream- I already knew that Cross was going to try and intimidate him by glaring him down like he always does when things aren't going the way he planned, this happened lots of times before so I quickly stepped in and made sure they were separated.

"Um Cross? Maybe we could hang out tomorrow? I did have plans with Dream." Cross looked at me and back at Dream, sighing.

"Whatever. Tomorrow I'll come pick you up and we can go out for breakfast. And Dream? Don't try anything." I tilted my head slightly, a little confused on what he meant as 'don't try anything'

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow than!" I smiled at him and he gave me a small smile as Dream just sighed. Cross then teleported away, waving bye to me.

"Good he is finally gone- Let's go watch the movie then!" I looked at him confused, why does he and Cross dislike each other so much? It makes me sad

"Sure, what movie did you have in mind?" He smiled at me and held up a DVD with a colorful cover with the word 'Flipped' on it.

"Its my favorite movie, it's about two kids who are complete opposites but they fall in love with each other. What do you think?" I smiled and laughed a small bit, only Dream would have this as his favorite movie but I have a feeling I will like it too.

"Sounds great! I'll go get the popcorn and you go get the movie ready!" He nodded and we both ran off, determined to make this movie night perfect! I made three bags of popcorn and dumped them all into a large bowl. I normally don't eat that many bags of popcorn but Dream loves popcorn so I always make more than necessary although he always eats it all.
