I go running out into the snow on all fours, and end up tripping over my feet and rolling into the snow giggling as Sans walks up after me chuckling a small bit.

"Hey pup, be careful with all that tripping and running. You might hurt yourself and that wouldn't feel very 'ice'" He said chuckling as I also giggled at his silly pun.

"I'll be fine Sans! Plus it's just fun, the snow is really run to run in and see all of the white fluffy snow go flying into the air" He just smiled a bit more and laughed.

"Whatever you say pup. If you get hurt I'll tell you I told you so." He laughed a little and I just rolled my eyes as I started to get back up and start running through the fluffy soft snow happily.

(Sans's POV)

I just watched her go running through the snow and playing, having fun. She was always so adorable. She isn't quite a full dog, she's a hybrid so she had dog ears, tail, and paws. Her senses are like a dog too. Asgore I love this pup but I don't think I'll ever be able to tell her.

I sighed and followed after her to make sure she didn't get surprised by any monsters wanting to battle, I'll never forget how I first found her. It was when she was in the middle of a battle but she didn't want to fight, she couldn't run though so she was curled up in a ball while she was attacked.

If I didn't come in time she would have died... I quickly shake the thought out of my head not wanting to think of losing her. I looked over at her again and smiled, she always can make me happy just by being herself.

(Y/N's POV)

I look up and open my mouth trying to catch a snowflake in my mouth. I can hear Sans laugh a little at me, I turn to him and stick my tongue out at him. "You hush you numbskull"

He just laughed and knelled down to my height because I was still on all fours. "Whatever you say you dumb pup"

I huffed slightly, angrily but I knew he was just joking. He has always called me dumb pup and I always have called him a numbskull. I stick my tongue out at him, laughing a little bit. He only stuck his tongue out back at me.

"Do you think I could go to Waterfall to swim today?"

Sans thought for a moment and shrugged, "Sure I don't see why not, we can walk there together when I go to take my shift. We could even use my shortcut if you want."

"Sure! But no shortcut! Whenever you use that I get really dizzy" He smiled mischievously, I know what he was planning because he has done this so many times before. I start to run as he started to chase me, and suddenly he used a shortcut to appear right in front of me, forcing me to run into him as he grabbed a hold of me.

"Heh, nice try pup." I huffed lightly and glared at him as he used his weird shortcut to teleport us to his work station in Waterfall.

"Sans!" He laughed a small bit and let me go.

"Alright, alright, go have fun and be careful. Be sure to call for me if anything happens" I rolled my eyes a little, jokingly. I have heard this too many times to count.

"I know, I know Sans. I'll be careful, plus nothing will happen. I'm super strong see!" I tried to flex and laughed a small bit as he laughed along with me."

"Alright sure." I waved bye before running off to go to my favorite spot in Waterfall and probably my favorite spot in the whole underground as far as I have seen. There are small glowing mushrooms everywhere along with lily pads.

I love to use the lily pads as bridges to go across the water and ring the small golden bell to hear the small chime the bell creates. I giggled lightly as I swung the rope back and forth, but in the middle of a ring I heard some footsteps behind me.

I quickly turned around and saw some monsters, I knew who they were. First was Aaron, the large muscled seahorse. Next was Woshua, the small turtle who hated me ever since I told him I didn't want him to clean me. Finally was Bunny... she didn't like me very much but I never knew why. She was really nice when I first met her but then I guess she just didn't?

"Oh my Asgore! I can't believe it! It's a small lost pup huh?" Bunny giggled.

"Look, I can just go alright? I can just go back to Sans" When I said that Bunny scowled at me

"Sans, Sans, Sans, Sans, it's always about Sans with you! What are you? His girlfriend or something?" I tilted my head softly at what Bunny said but when my brain registered what she said I felt my face heat up

"W-What? No, we aren't dating and we aren't planning too. So can I just leave now?" She sighed and rolled her eyes as Woshua and Aaron laughed.

"Yeah okay, sure you aren't dating him, you only live together and never leave each other's side." Aaron spoke as he looked at himself in a mirror, flexing. Suddenly Bunny grabbed my wrists and flung me to the ground. I tried to get back up but she slammed her foot onto my back, forcing me back down

"Oh shut up! Don't try to lie. You aren't supposed to be with Sans, he is supposed to be with me!" She yelled. What is she talking about? I am only friends with him, even if I do have a crush on him.

"Please just let me go, I don't want to fight" She huffed in anger and slammed her other foot onto me as Aaron started to hit me and Woshua stepped all over me to keep me down. I yelped in pain as they continued to hurt me, I felt my hp go down further and further, reaching one before they suddenly stopped.

Confused, I looked up and saw him standing there, in front of me ready to protect me at all costs. "Why don't you kids go pick on someone your own size and leave my poor pup alone? Unless you want me to make you"

Before I could see or hear anything else my vision went blurry and their voices muffled. I soon passed out, the world fading to black.

"Hm?" I opened my eyes and rubbed them softly, confused on what had happened.

"Hey pup... you were asleep for a while. Three hours at least. I guess you could say you took a dog nap instead of a cat nap heh" I couldn't help but laugh a small bit as I sat up and looked around. Was this Sans's room? As I sat up I felt a sharp pain in my side as the rest of my body ached.

"Hey pup, just relax and here. Eat these, they will help bring your hp back up." I smiled softly and thanked him before taking the sweet cinnabon and taking a large bite and melting a small bit at the taste.

"Mmmm! Thank you so much. This kind of reminds me of the first time I met you" He rolled his eyes a small bit

"That isn't good Y/N... you almost died-" I looked up at him surprised, he hasn't called me by my real name since... ever.

"Sans it's okay, I'm fine now."

"I know but what if I don't get to you in time next time? If you died I don't know what I would do. I can't live without you because the truth is- well... I love you Y/N. I always had and today you almost died and I never would have gotten to tell you and the thought if that terrifies me-" Before he could say anything else I kissed him, cutting him off.

He froze for a moment in shock before he kissed me back

"I love you pup"

"I love you too Sans"
