Chapter 5

*Bryanna's POV*

Skip guided me while covering my eyes with his hands. "Skip, where are we going?" I asked with a smile. "Don't worry. We're almost there." he said and continued to help me walk. We took a few more steps before Skip lifted his hands away from my eyes and I saw that we stood at a park. Not just any park. This was the park that Skip and I first talked. This was the place that I realized that it wasn't Beau who I like, but it was actually Skip. There was an old tree,that leaned slightly to the left, in the park. I noticed that underneath was a blanket and what looked like a picnic basket. I turned around to face Skip. He was looking down at the ground and kicking some dirt with his feet. "You did this?" I asked him. His eyes looked up to meet mine. "Umm yeah. If you don't like I under..." "I love it." I said, cutting him off. "You do?" his eyes grew wide. "Yes. Of course I do!" I said while putting my hands on his cheeks and giving him a light kiss on the lips. A smile grew on his face. "I'm glad you like it." he said. "But there's more to it!" he said. He took my warm hand in mine and walked me over to the blanket that was set up under the tree. We both sat down on the multicolored blanket. Skip picked up the picnic basket and opening it up. Inside, was chicken parm, iced tea and chocolate covered strawberries. "My favorites." I whispered. " You remembered?" I asked Skip. He looked up at me and smiled. "Of course I remembered. I remember everything you've told me." I smiled.

Skip and I enjoyed our meal in the bright, sunny park. "Thank you skip. This was a wonderful day." I said to him. He smiled. "But it's not over." Skip reached into the picnic basket and pulled out a small box which had a small red bow on top. Skip handed it to me. My eyes grew wide as I slowly opened the box. Inside was a beautiful diamond infinity ring. Tears sprang in my eyes. "Skip..it's beautiful." I choked out the words. "You like it?" Skip asked. "I love it!" I cried and threw my arms around Skip's neck. I leaned back kissed him. Skip kissed back but then separated. He took the ring out if the box and carefully slid it on my finger. Skip looked into my eyes and I looked back into his. "I love you so much Bryanna." He whispered. "I love you too, Skip."

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday. Sorry I haven't updated recently but I've had terrible writers block and I apologize for this short chapter but I hope you guys liked it anyway.
