Chapter 4

**A FEW WEEKS LATER**

*Skip's POV*

Bryanna's soft lips lightly pressed against mine and woke me from my sleep. I slowly opened my eyes and saw her smiling face looking at me. "Morning beautiful" I whispered to her before giving her a deep kiss. "Happy one year anniversary." She said with a smile. I smiled back. I've been waiting for this day for weeks. I was so excited. I couldn't believe that Bry and I had been together for a year already. It feels like just yesterday we were sitting in the park talking about how much she liked Beau. Who knew that we would end up together. But I'm very happy that we did. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I loved her.

I looked over at Bryanna, who was laying next me in bed but looking out the bright sunny window. I quickly rolled over on top of her, catching her off guard. "Ahhh what the hell?!" she yelled while laughing. I held myself up over her before kissing her hard, yet softly, on the lips. We both melted into the kiss but I separated and looked her in her blue green eyes. "I just love you." I whispered. The corners of her mouth curled up into a small smile. "I love you too." she whispered. I gave her one last kiss on the cheek before jumping off her and walking out of the room. "Hey! Where are you going?!" I heard her yell from our room. I turned around and poked my head back inside. Bryanna was sitting up on the bed with a smile on her face. I couldn't help but smile back. "Just get dressed. Something nice." I said before walking out of the room again.

*Bryanna's POV*

Skip left the room again as I flung the blankets off of me and jumped out of bed. I ran over to my closet, throwing the two doors open and looking at all my clothes. Wait where were we even going? "Hey babe?" I called out to Skip from my room. "Yeah?" he called back. "Where are we going?" I asked, still looking at the clothes in my closet. "I can't tell you that!" he called back. "Then how am I supposed to know what to wear?" I asked. I heard footsteps coming from the stairs and then saw Skip appear next to me in the mirror that hung on the wall in my room. I turned around to face him. "You could just wear nothing." He said with a cheeky smile. I gave him a small laugh and slapped his arm lightly before turning back around towards my closet. I felt skips arms wrap around my waist and his chin rest against my shoulder. "Whatever you wear will look beautiful." he whispered in my ear. He gave me and light kiss on the cheek and left me alone in my room again.

I smiled while looking through my closet filled with clothes. I finally decided on my denim dress with cutouts on the side and studs on the collar. I then slid on my black studded combat boots. I went into the bathroom and plugged in my curling iron. While that was heating, I waterfall braided my long dark brown hair. I then created long curls that rested on my shoulders. I covered my face in foundation before applying dark eye make up and bright, shiny red lip stick. I put on my sparkly, black bow earrings and my studded mix match bangles. I looked at my final look in the mirror and smiled. Not to brag or anything but I looked really good. I grabbed my cell phone off my night table and ran down the stairs to meet Skip. He was sitting on the couch wearing jeans and a fancy shirt. He must of heard me come down the stairs cause he quickly turned his head around towards me. His jaw drop when he saw me and he stood from the couch. "You look.... amazing." he said while walking closer to me. I looked at the ground and blushed. "Thanks." I said with a slight smile, still looking down at the floor. I felt Skip's warm hand gently touch cheek. He brought my face up to look at his. "I love you." He said and pressed his lips mine once again. I looked up into his eyes and smiled after we separated from the kiss. He looked down at me and did the same. After staring at each other for a while, Skip finally broke our gazer and grabbed my hand. "Come on, Let's go!" he said pulling me out the front door.
