*Beau's POV*
I drove up and down the streets of Melbourne, in the pouring rain, looking for Ellie. I first drove back to the house but she wasn't there. I had absolutely no idea where she could have gone. I thought that maybe she was at the park but she wasn't there either. I then started to think of some of Ellie's places to go. She loved the beach but she obviously wasn't there. She also loved Starbucks but when I drove past I didn't see any runaway brides inside. Where could she have gone? A loud crash of thunder sounded and the thought suddenly occurred to me. She was at the mall. That was where Ellie and I first met. She was practically always at the mall. She once told me that it was a nice place to think.
I made a sharp u-turn in my car and began racing towards the mall. As i drove, I saw a quick flash of lightening with the loud boom of thunder shortly afterwards. I began to worry about Ellie even more since I knew that she was afraid of thunderstorms. I sped up faster in my car, needing to get the mall faster. Ellie had to me there and I had to me with her. I needed to see her and protect her. I loved her.
I pulled into the mall parking lot and came to a screeching halt. Through the rain, I was able to see Ellie curled up in a ball still wearing her wedding dress. I swung the car door open and jumped from the car. I began running as fast as I could to her. As I came closer to her, another crash of thunder sounded. Ellie's whole body began to shake. I ran faster before diving next to her and holding her in my arms. I held her as tight as I could. Ellie rolled over in my arms and looked up at me. "Beau?" Her low voice spoke. Her hair was soaking wet and falling apart and her makeup was smudged down her face. I wiped her cheek with my thumb and gave her a light smile. But Ellie didn't smile back. "I..I need to tell you something...." She spoke quietly.
