Baby, Just Say Yes (Sequel to "Set This World On Fire")

Chapter 25

*Beau's POV*

I pulled up to the apartment with a screeching halt and jumped from the car. I slammed the car door behind me before running to the apartment door and throwing it open. Luke and Jai were sitting on the couch with Lex and Lauren. The four of them stared at me with wide eyes and confused looks but I didn't care. I slammed the front door and stood at the bottom of the stairs. "DANIEL!!!" I shouted using his real name, which I very rarely used. I heard one of the doors upstairs open before I seeing Skip walking down them. "Dude, you're soaking wet. Did you find-" I didn't let him finish his sentence before my fist collided with his jaw. Skip fell hard on the floor. I jumped on top of him and continuously punch him. Luke and Jai tried prying me off of him but I wouldn't stop. I heard Lauren and Lex shouting things too but I wasn't paying much attention. All I was focused on right now was making sure that Skip felt the same amount of pain that I did.

"Daddy?"

My punching finally stopped when I heard a small voice behind me. I got off of Skip and turned around to see Belle staring at me with huge, tearful eyes. Bryanna was standing next to her with the same expression. I looked down at Skip. His lip was cut and bleeding and his eye had become black and swollen. I looked back at Belle, who was now crying into Luke's shoulder while he held her in his arms. She was afraid of me. How could I do this? I let my anger get the best of me. Not only did I physically hurt Skip but I also hurt Belle. I walked over to Skip and gently held out my hand. He grabbed it and I helped him stand up. "I guess Ellie told you, huh?" He said, barely understandable through his fat lip. I nodded. "Told you what?" Bry asked looking at the both of us. I helped Skip over to the couch, where he plopped down. He sighed and look at Bryanna who was now sitting across from. "Remember the night that we went to the club?" He asked. Bryanna slowly nodded. "And you couldn't find me?...well that's because I went home with Ellie and we uh....we slept together..." He told her carefully. It pained me even more hearing it from him. I looked over to Bry again. Her eyes where filled with pain. But she stood from her seat and walked next to Skip. "Only once?" She asked. Skip looked confused but he nodded 'yes'. Bryanna sighed. "Daniel, I may look fine and calm on the outside but I'm dying right now on the inside. I'm so painfully hurt that you did this to me but this baby is due in a few days and I don't want him or her growing up without its father." Bryanna took Skip's hands in hers and gently rested them on her pregnant stomach. "I love you and I need you." Skip stood from his sitting position and gave Bryanna a huge hug. He whispered something in her ear but I couldn't hear what it was.

I looked over at Belle who was still wrapped in Luke's arms. If Bryanna was able to forgive Skip for the sake if there new baby then I should be able to forgive Ellie for the sake of Belle. Before anyone could say anything more, I ran out the door and into my car. I loved Ellie too much and I wasn't going to let her get away again.
