Chapter 15

*Ellie's POV*

"How about you try on this one?" Lauren said handing me another dress. I faked a smile and nodded before walking into the dressing room. I shut the door behind me and leaned my back against it before sighing and sliding down onto the floor. We've been in the dress store for almost two hours now and I've tried on at least 50 dresses. Don't get me wrong, all the dresses were beautiful but none of them were really for me. I finally picked myself up off the floor and slid my body into the white dress. I looked at myself up and down in the mirror before frowning and taking the dress off. Why was this so difficult? I opened the dressing room door and handed the reject dress back to Lauren, who had a disappointed look on her face. Bryanna was on one side of the store looking at dresses, while Lauren was in the corner returning the dress she took out for me. I took a deep breathe before pointing my arm out straight and spinning around in a few circles. I stopped spinning before I got too dizzy. My arm was pointed towards a rack filled with dresses and I walked closer towards the rack. As I got closer, I began to smile. I grabbed one of the dresses and quickly ran to the dressing rooms. I quickly slipped into the dress, my smile growing larger. This was the dress. It was an ivory colored dress with some ruffles of lace. It had a sweetheart neckline with straps that cross in the back. It was also low back with a bow at the bottom. It was beautiful. Still wearing the dress, I opened the dressing room door. Bryanna and Lauren smiled widely as I stood in front of them. I think I might have even saw a few tears form in there eyes. "That's the one" Bryanna whispered. I nodded. "Yeah I think it is." I spoke as a small tear dripped down my cheek. I was so happy, all the bad slipped from my mind and all I could think of was the good.
