"You're gonna eat breakfast with me?" I looked at DeeDee and gave her a smile.

"Of course, sug....." I admit, since the whole ordeal, I been slacking on me and Deedee's time. It wasn't fair to her and I needa get back on track with it. Me and DeeDee were on the floor on our large beanbag chair that Nixon brought.

I took out the food Lucian brought from one of the bakeries and fixed up her plate. Everybody was downstairs getting ready for the blood drive, Chase was shocked to see the amount of registered donors, this morning. Right now, it was just me, babygirl and a sleeping Jah. Two of the guards stood outside the door, while the others were downstairs with everybody else.

"I'm sorry I haven't been as.....fun, for a while...." I haven't been neglecting babygirl, I just haven't been me....and I shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't have been selfish, she didn't have Jah at the moment, but I was still here.

"It's ok. You're still my bestie. You were just sad that daddy is hurt....." An 8 year old to have some typa understanding of the situation......it's amazing.

"I know you're sad, too....." I smoothed my thumb over her cheek. Babygirl looked over at Jah, laying on the bed. Lenox donated blood was slowly finishing up and Joshua was coming back to take a sample of Jah's blood, to see if there was any improvement.

"Daddy been sleeping for a long time....." She whispered.

"Yeah.....his body needs lots of rest. He'll be up soon....." Jah's face was looking more brighter. His fingers didn't feel so cold anymore, his skin color was more flushed and my hopes skyrocketed. Deedee looked back at me with sadness in her eyes.

"I have to stay strong for him. Just like you...." She turned to look at her plate of breakfast.

"Oh sug, you were stronger than me, already." DeeDee smiled at me.

I felt like I was gonna break everything happened, how he was fighting for his life and I couldn't mentally function for that moment. All I kept thinking at that moment, was that I couldn't lose him. At the same time, I kept babygirl close to me cuz I didn't want her to get hurt neither. If Ryan could do what the fuck he did to bae.....

What makes me think he ain't gon do it to DeeDee......? Nah.....she staying wherever I go, I promised myself and bae that I would always take care of her. While we were in the hospital, I'll try to keep things normal like it would be back at the condo.

"At least you didn't leave me....." babygirl leaned over and gave me a hug.

I fought the tears that tried to come out, I couldn't leave her. This was the time that she needed all the support. She had her aunts and uncles, but she needed a mother figure. Summer couldn't give her that basic mother's love. She caught herself calling Nixon the past week, wanting to know how DeeDee and Jah was doing. Summer did interview after interview, playing the concerned ex wife and mother.

Summer ain't fooling no one, especially me. Somehow, someway she had something to do with Jah being shot and she was playing the part. Nixon blocked all her calls and she went in live radio, saying that we wasn't giving her any information.

The fuck for.......!?

"I can never leave you or your dad, baby. You guys are my world. Now eat up, we got a very busy day." Well I do, I had a press conference in a couple hours, I was gonna thank and talk to the donors donating their blood.

Meanwhile, DeeDee will have her playdate with a few guards watching over. Ariyan was coming with Marli and I had an extra sweet surprise for my lil bestie. All last night Chase searched and searched for Diana, I couldn't remember her last name either to make it somewhat easier.
