"Why they waited til now, to tell us they were coming?" I got in traffic and made way to the airport.

We coulda asked Jericho to pick 'em up, but our parents.....especially mama, would throw a bitch fit.

"I dunno, sis.....it was mama that called me. She said she miss home...." Philly been home to us all our lives and the fact that they've been gone almost a whole year, I can understand.

"You know she finna ask you bout Saday....." My sister looked at me.

I ain't say nothing and kept driving, I broke up with Saday a couple months ago and it still hurts. I was ready to give that woman everything and....it took me too long to realize that she was being selfish for her own needs. Saday ain't cheat on me, it was just her freely taking the chance of me spoiling her for 4 years. My parents loved her, but none of us realized, that she was playing all of us. Me buying the house was the last straw, right after we started moving in....I noticed none of the stuff were hers, but her family's.

Apparently I bought the house for them and not for me and Saday. She failed to tell me that when we was all in the hype of moving in together.

"I'll figure out what to tell 'em......" I muttered. We got on the highway and I sat back, steering the car.

"So.....Nykima Wallace, didn't I tell you that she'd be an amazing face for the line.... ?" I felt Sasha look at me and I nodded.

"You did....." My sister was 25 and followed all three women heavy, along with the crew of Lickin Bites. We were getting ready for the spring collection and were always looking for new representation. My Sister was quick to suggest Nykima and I admit, she got some mad shoe game.

"She seems so chill and that heavy friendship she got with Kalima and the rest of them......" Sasha got on her phone and started doing whateva.

It was true on that, I liked how Chase threw in Nykima wanting a line in the near future and her friend, Monty being part of it. Nykima didn't object, it was a natural acceptance from her.

"You think pops and our uncles gon have a problem with the 30%?" My pops and uncles gave this company to me, Sasha and our cousins.

Now we were making all decisions and I'm hoping we were making a good one. When it's time for board meetings to review our quarterly income, our uncles and pops gon want an explanation. I got off the exit and followed the path for arriving flights.

"It ain't gon flop, I know that....." Sasha kept texting on her phone.

"I know that too, sis. That's why you and Cierra finna explain the reason why the company's revenue is basically staying the same." I ain't got no problem with it.

I see that working with Nykima can be beneficial, shit her man was bad as hell with the social media game. We could use Chase expertise to our benefit, too. Anyone who understands the relationships Nykima and her best friends got.....can see the men go hard for their girls.

I just don't feel like explaining shit to 5 mean ass looking in their own right. My sister and cousin can handle that shit, the women tend to be a weakness for my pops and uncles.

"That's fine.....me and Cierra gon handle our magic."

"Ok......cuz it's a board meeting right when we pick 'em up." I smirked.
