"I'll be back in an hour....." Lucian looked at me.

"Ok....." I bit my lip shyly. Kay was still sleep and Nike probably was too, in Chase's room.

I may work late nights, but I'm usually the first one up. Lucian found me in Jah's kitchen, looking for some coffee and there wasn't none.

That's not a good thing......

I need coffee.....if I don't have my usual cup, then I could be a lil moody. I didn't have anymore Kona Estate at the apartment, but Lucian was sweet enough to give me a whole 10lb bag of it.

And it's home.......

"You want me to have someone deliver some coffee here? Or I'll pick it up after I leave from where I'm going.....?" Lucian picked my hand up, looking at my fingers. I really needed to get my nails replaced, these fill-ins are through. I looked up at Lucian, it was only the both of us in the kitchen and I kinda liked this privacy.

"I mean.....I gotta appointment I'm going to. I could go by, after there....." I made this contract before Jay offered me the full time position at Lickin Bites.

I mean, the most popular lingerie line wants me to style up their models. I guess my work was big in social media, but being connected with Lickin Bites! And I'm gonna do Maya Fletcher's and the bridal party make up for her wedding! This is honestly what I was not expecting when we moved up here......

Everything is happening so fast......

"How you gonna get there?" Lucian asked me softly. His voice was so smooth and low, it brings shivers down my spine when he speaks.

"Uber...." Lucian reared his head back, twisting his lips.

"Nah......Chase or his brother could take you. You ain't finna take no Uber....." His fingers kept playing with mines and I admit......it feels nice.....

"Don't they gotta go in the office.....?" Last night they were all talking hard about doing a lot of shit for Lickin Bites......

Votes and replacements, stores and pushing publicity......it was just confusing......

"Chase and his brother handles advertising, media, marketing and publicity. They can do most of the work from home, they really go in for meetings with their teams and board meetings. Now that they're getting ready to push store openings, they'll be in zoom meetings most of the time. Lickin Bites is tryna go all out." Lucian rubbed the side of his face.

"Wow....." I looked down at my phone.

Princess: where r ya? Our baecation was cut short

"I can catch an Uber, they'll be too busy......" Lucian let a deep sigh go. He lift my hand to his lips and gave my knuckles a soft kiss. My heart trembled a lil.....

"If I ain't had to go somewhere, I'd take you myself. Take the ladies with you and let Chase or Nix drive you. They won't care." Lucian said it so softly, but I could hear the seriousness in his request. I didn't say anything, but I did find it sexy.

"Ok....." DeeDee, him and his cousins were going somewhere. Taisa told me that it was a must for them every Saturday morning and Sunday evening. I wonder where they go, but I wasn't gonna be that nosy.

"Morning....." Jah walked in the kitchen, his sister behind him on her phone. They were twins and a person could see the deep similarities between them. It was just that Jahi was literally filled with tattoos, I know that's the type of man Kay like. The ones whose quiet, lethal and sexy as hell......
