"So, is this all your rings....?" I looked at my brother. We were at Gardner's House, looking at the gorgeous jewelry. Sidney offered a private viewing to Jahi and we all came through.
Obviously for the same reasons......
I figured Jah was thinking hard about asking Kay to marry him. The way they've been vibin together, it was better than any relationship he had. I knew he was thinking along that route, anyways. The minute he asked her to move in the condo I knew it was serious between them. Then, he even asks Kay to start looking for houses and they haven't been messing with each other that long.....
But Jahi is feeling Kalima hard......
"Aye.....you think I'm trippin if I asked Kalima to start looking for houses.....?" Jah asked, pulling out the gars to roll up.
They came back from Miami last week and my son came home yesterday. Of course my mom took complete care of my son, me and Jay spend more than enough time with him, but mom was readily prepared to take care of her grandson, if needed.
I sat back and raised my brow at my best friend, I didn't think we was moving that fast. Not that I ain't think nothing was wrong with it. Kay was bringing out a Jahi that I barely see, I think they good for each other.
"Nike told me....you leaving the condo?" Chase looked up from his laptop. Jah shook his head, lining the weed up.
"Nah....Imma keep it. It's some good memories here." He smiled to himself.
I'm sure they had everything to do with Kalima and babygirl.
The ladies were at HQ, working on their photoshoots that Jay was overseeing. She took over, since Jah did majority of the work in Miami. He was still gonna be just as active, here. I already said that I was gonna take a break from the office after my son was born. I was caught up on all the paperwork I needed to take care of and Inaya would take over for now. I took care of the twins publicity, when they first started gaining recognition. Anyone who wanna set something up, would contact me. I used to do the more vocal publicity like Inaya, but I scaled back a few months ago, when I started working with Chase more.
Making sure Zameer and other media captures their images right. With me doing that, the twins didn't have nobody physically with them. So, I hired Inaya as my head publicist. She had an amazing background, I couldn't ignore her resume. She handled all the media with ease and I liked the hard edge she put on the media with the twins. Even with Kalima and the ladies, I asked her to take over their publicity and I'm satisfied with the job Inaya was doing.
"I didn't think you'd be there yet." I said, going through my emails. Just because I'm not gonna be at the office much, I can still work from home.
