"We're here to discuss the divorce proceedings of Mr. Jahi Raynel Collins and Mrs. Summer Neveah Ramirez-Collins. Mr. Collins is the one seeking the divorce on grounds of adultery and constructive abandonment. Now you are aware in the state of New York those are legal grounds for divorce, with proof. So, I see you two have been married since 2013.....?"

Judge Mallway looked up at me and Summer. She sat with her lawyer and I sat next to Alric. "Yes sir." I answered.

"And based on the complaints when did the trouble begin in the marriage?"

"You honor, my client married Mrs. Collins March of 2013. Mrs. Collins had just recently found out of their pregnancy of their daughter just then. Mr. Collins felt it would be the right and honorable thing to do as a father and his feelings for Mrs. Collins were true and heartfelt at the time. Throughout the years of marriage, Mr. Collins no longer started feeling the same for Mrs. Collins. Instead, opting to stay in the marriage for his daughter and try to work something out with his wife." Alric started.

"Many parents don't remain married for the sole purpose of the child. Many has been successful in co-parenting." Judge Mallway leaned back in his seat. Alric looked at me, I would give my honest answer.

"Yes, your honor that is true......in the beginning, I thought me and Summer could be good together. We were already dating for two years before then and I'm human to admit that I thought I was in love....I thought we could be strong parents, together for our daughter." I looked at Summer.
