"Hey ma.....daddy." Cherish walked in the living room. I had just came in from checking on the production of the new suits and I was tired.....

I felt mentally exhausted from the earlier call with my brother. *sigh...*

I'm too old for this shit......

"Hey, Cher bear....." Chesney smiled up at our daughter. I raised my cheek and Cherish bent forward, kissing it. She sat across us on the other sofa, giving us a worried look.

"What's wrong, babygirl.....?" I asked. The honey eyes, that looked so much like my dad's, looked up at me in worry.

Now I was on edge, with my child feeling a certain way, it's my job to make sure she's ok. Despite if she was 41. Cherish reached in her large bag that she loves to carry and pulled out her laptop.

"Cher.....?" Chesney asked quietly.

My daughter looked down at her closed laptop and for some reason, that feeling in my gut was slowly falling.....I knew what she wanted to get off her chest. I took off my glasses and scratched my forhead, I thought my brother talked to Cherish....

I tried to ignore the growing aggravation. I got the feeling that at the end of this......talk, I was bout to be either aggravated or pissed off....it just felt like it was going to be a heavy talk.

"Before you say anything....." I said with my eyes still closed. I opened them, looking at Cherish and then moving them to my beautiful wife. Chesney looked at me, slightly confused.

"Honey.....what's wrong......?" When we left Miami, I thought I left the thought of Tabitha behind, too. 40 years later.....she's back and I was bout to have a conversation about someone I couldn't stand.
