"Daddy, you look real handsome...." I came in Deedee's room, to kiss her goodnight.

"Thank you, babygirl....." I smiled at her, she gave me a wide smile in return.

"So what're you and Leese gonna watch....?" I looked at the frozen tv screen.

"Princess and the frog....." Deedee took the sketch pad next to her and started drawing. The minute she could hold a pencil, my babygirl has never put it down. Always drawing next to me in solitude. Shaleese was downstairs making popcorn and getting their snacks ready for tonight.

I thought about yesterday. Summer embarrassed us in front of two major ad execs. That already made us look bad, apparently she had showed the fuck out before Draya and Jovani came in the room. Me and Jay been so busy with the line, that we finally remembered to cancel Heat Drip and pay the models for the breach of contract.

Most of them were understanding and instead, asked about any future lines. Which we gave most of them, with the exception of Summer, we gave them features in Sugar Rush. It was gonna focus more on the plus size, but there were still some pieces for the slimmer sizes as well.

I had called Kay and Nike to come inz so we can start with measurements and move on into fittings. Hopefully by October we could start with commercials and get traveling done to promote the line. Both Cotton Candies and Lickin Bites stores would be opening by early December. It's a lot with only five months and Jay being due around late October, into early November......but me and my sister, along with everybody else was confident it could happen.

But yesterday.....it took me to another level.......

Kay flew past me and swung hard on Summer. She banged her face on the desk and threw Summer to the ground, where she kept swinging. Me and Nix ran to them, Kay looked liked she was bout to kill Summer. Summer managed to throw her blows in, but Kay wasn't really giving her the chance.

"Stomp that bitch!" Draya cackled. I grabbed Kay around the waist and pulled her off and she kicked Summer hard. Kay struggled in my arms, tryna get back to her, but I held her tight against me.

"I told you, you gon feel these hands ho! Keep trying me and you gon feel 'em again and ain't nobody finna stop me!" Chase ran to the phone, obviously bout to call security.

"Bitch fuck you! You think he want yo ass!? Y'all fat bitches ain't shit!" Kay ripped herself from me and I grabbed for her again.

Jovani Mendes moved quick and grabbed Nike, who came running for Summer. Chase dropped the phone and ran up to them. "Fuck you, dirty ass ho! You ain't shit, neva gone be shit!" Nike yelled.

Chase tried to calm Nike down, quietly talking to her and Summer wouldn't shut the fuck up!

"What y'all had do? Suck dick!? Thinking y'all could slide up in here and y'all fat asses gon make it big!?" Summer yelled, I could see the bruises forming on her face.

Kay grabbed a chair and threw it, barely missing Summer and Nixon. Nixon pulled Summer out of the room and I turned Kay to me.

"Hey!" Her heated eyes moved to mines, we could still hear Summer yelling outside. Kay's eyes dropped and she ripped herself away from me. She walked to a corner and started banging the wall with her fists. Carmel and Nike ran to Kay and what I saw broke my heart.

She cried.....

She cried in her best friends arms and that shit hurt......

I looked around the room. Draya and Jovani, my sister, Nix and Chase.....looked at the three friends. I looked back at Kay, her face red and teary.
