"I don't know what to do, though." 

I rolled my eyes. "Johnny, it's just a girl." 

"Yeah, but you've never asked someone out before!" 

I shrugged. "Yeah, okay, but how hard can it be?"  

"Why don't you ask Ashton?" 

I frowned. "He's only asked me out a few times." 

Since out first date, Ashton and I had been to a few more places, like Color Me Mine, Blickenstaff's, and a fancy French restaurant that I could never pronounce.

"He's still had to ask you each time." 

"Well, technically, Calum was the messenger for a few of those." 

"He can't even ask you out in person? Wimp. Why are you dating him again?" 

"We're not dating! He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet." 

Johnny smirked. "That time is closer than you think, Jade." 

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" 

"You'll see." 

"Oh, just go kiss that girl you're obsessed with." 

Johnny's ears went pink. "I'm not obsessed! But I am going to o ask her on a date." 

I laughed. "Okay, Johnny." 

As he clambered into the car, I yelled out the front door, "Have fun! Use protection!" 

"Fuck you!" He yelled back, flipping me the bird, before driving off.
