"Don't be nervous," I chided Ashton. "I've already heard you play."

"Yeah, but you're a hot drummer, I don't want to lose you."

I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry, Ash. I am sure I'll enjoy it."

"I hope so," he mumbled.

"Ash!" Calum called. "We're on!"

Ashton grinned at me before kissing me on the cheek and headed up to the stage. "Don't leave right after, okay? I have something I need to ask you."

I nodded in affirmation.

By the end of the performance, I was fully prepared to kiss every single one of them on the mouth. Especially Luke. His voice was like choirs of angels singing in my ears.

When they got offstage, I waded through the crowded pub to the back where Ashton and the boys would come out.

"Ash!" I shouted when I saw his head of curly hair. "Ashton!"

He turned and noticed me, grinning and waving his drumsticks in the air. His hair was plastered to his forehead with sweat, and being a drummer myself, I knew how that was.

I waded through a group of drunk women to get over to the band.

"You did amazing!" I giggled, throwing myself into Ashton's arms. "I didn't know you could play like that!"

Ashton laughed hugged me back. "Thanks, Jade."

I let go of him and went up to Luke, kissing him on the cheek. "Your voice is absolutely heavenly."

Luke blushed. "Oh, um, thanks."

"Anytime, kid."
