Oliver's POV:
"She was over here last time I saw her," I said as we walked towards the offices that she was meant to be in waiting and preparing for the attack. "Well, she's not here now," Ari said as we went behind the building. "Yeah, that's kinda my point, dipshit," I replied. But where Alex was standing with our father, was nothing but air.
"What the hell is this," Liam said as he picked something, round in shape, off the ground. I sorta looked like a button. "No clue, but put in your pocket, in case it proves to be important," Ari replied. I must be the only one who recognises it. "We should go make sure everyone else is okay," I said, already starting to walk away. "Yeah good idea," was all that Liam said before following me.
But I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out where I've seen that object before. Maybe I hadn't. Maybe I'm just desperate to find Alex and just grasping at every little clue I can. Who knows.
